I just finished the rewatch (through video reactions of course, because that's the only sane way) of SVTFOE and not gonna lie, I always thought that in this shot (from season 1 episode 12) Star was pretty ho- I MEAN swag.

Noelle Stevenson’s controversy is worthless

So yeah, basically, either you are aware of the entire controversy regarding “Noelle Stevenson (creator of She-Ra) is cancelled” and her alleged "racism" (or insensitivity, or whatever you want to call it) or not, most of what you have to know is this: The controversy is worthless and it makes no sense from an objective standpoint. 

And yes, I’m aware that Noelle herself said she doesn't want to be defended, especially by non-black folk. And I won’t do it, that’s her way to deal with it so be it. But this doesn’t make it less worthless or meaningless.

I consider myself to be a rational and objective analyzer of things, any things, and calling “racist” or even just “internal racist” people who don’t agree with a distorted perception or reality doesn’t make that person less open minded.

I don’t have any bias, I’m external to the conflict and BECAUSE OF THIS I think I can see things as they are better than many. 

So, yes, the controversy is stupid, there was no racism involved, and if you have to do a triple flip to let others understand “why it was offensive and why we should care”, then maybe, just maybe , it wasn’t a great deal to begin with.

Also, before I close, I’m not “shutting down” anyone with this. If people want to continue with useless and pointless polemics, so be it. I just said things as they are.
