i see people being confused about lola being expelled after this one fight with tiff, and i was wtf about it too at first, but then i remembered it wasn’t the first time. last time lola slapped tiff at the party, tiff apparently told the principal about it (which didn’t make sense back then either bc the party wasn’t even on school grounds?? nor was it during school hours?? it has nothing to do with the school! but whatever), we know bc her dad confronted her about it. we also know she’s gotten detention a lot of times (in s5 the teacher says ‘oh there she is, our regular’). the point is, this was far from being her first offence, she’s been a Problematic student for quite some time (especially considering she’s only been going to this school for a short time), so i can understand why adding all this up may result in her being expelled.

having said that, what’s more upsetting than that is:

she was clearly being cyberbullied when she slapped tiff the first time (which wasn’t even at school! it shouldn’t count!), and there’s no way the school wasn’t aware of that??? THERE WERE STICKERS EVERYWHERE. the fact that no one from the school did anything about it, the fact that that doesn’t get take into consideration when dealing with lola’s behavior, is f*cked up.

the way the principal physically grabbed her and pushed her around, HELLO??? i was never ok with it when her dad did it, it’s 10x worse for someone else to do it. she wasn’t even doing anything when he did it, she was just standing there quietly listening to him! you want to expel her, fine. but idc what she’s done, you DON’T have permission to aggressively manhandle a 16 year old girl like that! what kind of f*cked up behavior is that.
