Working on perfecting my IG reels. Come with me
So here’s more of what came out concerning the Maine shooting yesterday. The victim’s name is Joan Sebastian Guerrero and they MURDERED him in front of his THREE year old.
And they were rude and yelling at a three year old after MURDERING HER FATHER IN FRONT OF HER.
To all you MAGAts moaning and groaning about “Anti Americanism” THIS is how you create radicals that hate America.
Not to mention they’re retracting their statements from “he tried running over the ice agent” to “he was a threat to public safety”.
MAGAs they think you’re THAT stupid.
And here are the inbreds who murdered him!
Anyone who still believes even a single member of ICE will face any legal consequences for whatever they did must be fucking insane or just plain stupid.
The US government barely even prosecutes regular cops, and people honestly expect it to go after donny's special boys?
ICE is running literal concentration camps, what the hell else needs to happen for these yanky fucks to realize it's time to finally take up arms and fight back?
But nooo, the yanks keep doing slightly inconvenient protest marches and contact their representatives some more and vote even harder... BECAUSE THAT SHIT WORKED SOOOOOO WELL UP UNTIL NOW, HASN'T IT?
I can't believe home depot literally produced a wildly successful science fiction musical and we all just pretend it didn't happen. on one hand yes it had a boring white guy main character but like.... home depot just... Made it? And it had shit ton of box office sales? and no one even talks about this. this is like avatar (2009) all over again
OK so. After a lot of frantic googling I realized this was all a dream. home depot did not in fact produce a wildly successful science fiction musical. I was on allergy meds and took a nap and my brain simply prophesized this. slightly disappointed because I wanted to watch it.

it really is quite bad for your military to have an image of itself as a warrior class. what you really want is for your soldiers to think of themselves as boring professionals who will fill out a report form if someone gets a little too warrior ethos out there

They should've given Tifa a-cups in the Final fantasy remake just so we can see weirdos having a meltdown while desperately trying to explain why having huge tits is absolutely imperative for her as a character.
Can't get through the commute to work in London without being reminded of the connection between football, fascism, and military propaganda that tries to recruit the fans. It only gets more ghoulish.
At first, I honestly thought this was another example of "subvertising" put up by activists rather than a real fucking ad.
Reality is beyond parody...
It's fucking wild how many of our modern ideas are based on some random guy making shit up like a hundred years ago.
For example, the common depiction of Neanderthals as brutish, hunched-over idiots? Some French guy in 1908 just decided to recunstruct a skeleton in this manner.
[...] while the Old Man of La Chapelle did suffer from a degenerative joint disease, the deformation caused by this should not have affected Boule's original reconstruction of the individual’s posture. It appears that Boule's own preconceptions about early humans, and his rejection of the hypothesis that Neanderthals were the ancestors of modern humans, led him to reconstruct a stooped, brutish creature, effectively placing Neanderthals on a side branch of the human evolutionary tree. (Boule even gave his reconstruction an opposable big toe like the great apes, but there was no bone deformity that should or could have led to this interpretation.)

Or the typical picture of Vikings wearing horned helmets. There is no evidence whatsoever to prove Vikings ever wore helmets like that, and the idea came from opera costume designs from the 1800s.

Or worst of all, the idea that in early human hunter-gatherer societies, the men were doing the hunting while the women stayed at home watching the kids and picking berries.
This idea comes from the "Man the hunter" symposium held in 1966 at the university of Chicago. There, a group of anthropologists came up with the idea that hunting large animals was what set us apart from other primates and advanced our evolution as a species.
And they just assumed only men were doing the hunting, therefore, men's behavior advanced our species, and that apparently means men are just inherently better than women.
This supposed "proof" is used to this day for bad science about gender. Let's just glance over the fact that in modern hunter-gatherer societies, the diet is made up of about 80% gathered food, and you can feed a lot more people for a lot longer with gathering than you can with hunting.
On top of that, humans are persistent hunters, meaning we slowly but persistently stalk prey until it collapses from exhaustion. Our hunting style required endurance above raw strength, and female bodies are kind of built for endurance and stamina.
This is why the gender ratio of hunters in prehistoric times was about fifty-fifty.
In 2018 this preconceived notion that only men were hunting was shaken even more when they found a 9000-year-old skeleton of a 17-19-year-old person in Wilamaya Patjxa.
At first, the skeleton was assumed to be a male hunter since they found hunting tools in the grave as well. But DNA analysis showed that the hunter was actually a woman.
This led to the scientists questioning if other hunter burials were actually men or just assumed to be men. So they looked at other prehistoric hunter graves previously discovered in the americas and assumed to be male, and it turns out... about 50% of those hunters were actually female.

The more you learn about history, the more you realize just how much "common knowledge" is just complete bullshit.
Here are also two very good videos I got most of this info from in the first place. Link Link
It's always been "fittest" as in best fitting.
Interestingly enough, people only started to associate the word "fit" with the meaning of "athletic" or "healthy" after the phrase "survival of the fittest" was coined.
It also wasn't Darwin who came up with the phrase, but Herbert Spencer after reading Darwin's On the Origin of Species in 1864.
