I think one of the reasons I click so well with io as a muse is that our default emotion is annoyed. the only difference is that I bottle it up and io is just obvious :/ the whole day

there's just something about the fact that io wants to relax and be at peace but their very existence was made to be destructive and volatile. io can search for peace and even find it but it doesn't change the fact that they could turn several thousand square miles to ash without breaking a sweat. all because they got a little pissed.

with winter here for the northern hemisphere, I am here to remind you that io hates all things cold with a vehement passion. they are a 100F sunny day kind of person and also a person who a) runs naturally hot and b) has very warm magic. to feel cold, even chilled, feels wrong to them.

the only difference between azzy and io being some loyal dog to the people they love is that azzy is a true hunting dog. loyal to the ends of the earth for his master and made into something that can track, hold, and even kill quarry bigger than him. io is something barely tamed. some barely-dog-still-mostly-wolf lurking in the firelight of someone crafty enough to start tossing them scraps and get loyalty in return.
