In game visual updates:
Yâall, you wonât beLIEVE.
Thereâs a bot or something going around itch.io, which takes screenshots of our communityâs current projects (mostly the ongoing ones, as far as I know), thus looking like an actual download page.
Donât download it. Itâs a virus. From what I can tell, you can easily identify it by looking at its size: 11MB.
But you should recognize it with the sheer fact that the developer didnât announce the game yet.
If you see one of these for any of our projects, for your own sake, please message us before downloading. Be safe! Those things do nothing but give us a bad name, and weâre gonna stomp those to the ground! đĽ
Greetings everyone! Hope you all have been having a good time these past few weeks!
We come to you guys with some news about the game, Inchoamentum. We are sad to inform that we won't be able to finish making the game by the time we had set up.
We talked between us and decided to throw the release date far ahead to give us time to keep working on it, so we can give you all a proper functional game, the way we wanted it to be to begin with. We have been doing our best within our spare time between our personal lives and we are reaching the halfway of the game script.
We are also reviewing the parts we already had done and decided to make major changes on the plot and the cast of characteres, for the sake of a better delivery of the plot for you guys. We will push the release date for the end of November of 2018, the reason of it being pushed so far ahead is due the fact that the group helping us went down by one person plus the fact that now we know how hard it really is to develop something, so we will all double our efforts to cover for that!
We hope you all can understand it, and we are terrible sorry about the huge delay, but please remember that we are just two people wanting to develop a game for the first time and being incredible ambitious with it.
Take it easy, folks!
-Mods Avi and Benny
Happy Halloween, guys!!
Itâs been a while, huh? We are sorry for the innactivety, but we are still here to stay!!
Hopefully game update news soon, stay tunned!

Drunk Candra and Flower Lizards
After a lot of âPlease, wait for itâs, here it is, the newest, official demo of Inchoamentum!
Ahaha, sorry it took so long guys, but here is a thank you for the patient! Weâve been very busy trying to get all of this to work, so here is what is new for you to play:
* More gameplay! A little more into how the plot will go
* Royalty-Free music! So you can upload your videos on youtube without copyrights strike problems!
* Quest system! Subquests were added to the gameplay! Have fun with them~
* The new art is up!
* New town to explore!
* You can finally save Sidney! Go for it, she is waiting for you!
Again, thank you very much for the patience, and we hope you all can enjoy this little bit more of the game! And remember, that is just the beginning!
How is the progress going? Also I suggest to take it a little easy,it is your first game you're making
The main plot is about 20% written. Same goes for the art design of monsters.
The game lore is around 50% fully planned, while the game mechanics have yet two to be tested and developed.
Thank you for the support, you guys! Real life has been taking a ton on us, and who would have guessed that last year of university would be this hard ( ´ ⽠` );;
Hopefully the new demo will be out soon as a thank you for the patience.
We proceed slower than we thought. I may have created and have experience in this engine, but I never worked in group or pair before.
It is indeed quite an experience for both of the mod
Not to mention mod Benny is on her final work once again and I also going to have 3 uni works at same time.
Regardless, we're still determined to finish the game before August, and release the new demo as soon as possible
Development Update 11/03/2017
- Changed the music to royalty free one - Updated the maps - Fixed the grammars and bugs - Have the tester to test the game - Added Guild quest board and subquests - More maps!
Minimalistic, silhouette-ish drawings of Candra and Glenn, the two playable characters from the first demo of @inchoamentumâ :D
also tagging @thethird-eyeâ @pkmtrainerbennyâ because theyâre the ones making the game.
Better late than never! We from Inchoamentum hope you guys had a wonderful Valentineâs day, and if you think you didnât, you can just spend the weekend with the boys.
Iâm sure it will be fun.
Stay tuned for our next release, hopefully coming soon!

List of Common Warnings You Can Put on Your Games
Games released over the internet tend not to have a standard ratings system to let potential players know what theyâre getting into. Â To compensate for that, me and some wonderful followers came up with a list of common triggers & warnings to put in the description of your game. Â Â
While you donât have to list any warnings when you put out your game, it sure is helpful to give potential players a guide on what kind of content theyâre going to be seeing.  The more user friendly a game is, the more likely it is to be downloaded! :)
âWhere should I put these content advisory/trigger warning?â Â
Any place youâre giving a description of the game. Â For example, a release post on tumblr, or in the game descriptions of RPGmaker.net, Itch.io, & Gamejolt. Â Iâd put the triggers on a separate page if theyâre spoilers so people can have the option to spoil themselves or not (since some people can play through anything!). Â Â
âWhat if I donât want to warn players due to spoilers?â Â
Well, you could place a general warning like âWarning: this game is not meant for those with a nervous disposition or have trouble dealing with uncomfortable topics,â âThis game contains content suitable for people that are 10/15/18 years old or older,â or âThis game deals with mature subjects and can get into some uncomfortable places at time.âÂ
Another solution is to just use one of the many game rating systems available. Two prominent ones are the ESRB rating system used in North America, and the PEGI rating system used in most parts of Europe.
However, anything that could aggravate or hurt someone physically should always be placed before a game.  These include:
flashing images
sudden sounds and/or movements
loud noises
eye strain
jump scares
screamers
You can also offer a version of the game that removes this content, or an option within the game itself to disable stuff like this. Â You donât want anyone to have a seizure or panic attack during your game. :[
Now hereâs a specific list of warnings you can add to your game. Â While the list is long, your game probably wonât contain all of them. Â Special thanks to everyone who sent in a response to this post for helping out!Â
