It's time to say goodbye...
I've been unofficially semi-retired for quite some time now and I've been unconsciously stalling this but I don't think there's any point in avoiding it any longer.
I created this blog back in the summer of 2018 (good Lord) upon realizing that there was no other blog like this one for Xena and this could be a good way for me to contribute to this fandom. Needless to say that I grew up with this blog; I was nothing more than a high school student with a dream and now I'm finishing my master's lol. After so many years, however, it's time to pull the plug. Unfortunately, I no longer have neither the time nor the inspiration to keep posting on this blog.
Xena has been an integral part of my identity. It was my comfort show back in the day when I had my wisdom tooth removed and I couldn't do much but watch TV with a swollen mouth. It combined my long time obsession (Greek mythology) with characters and a story that were a comfort to my young queer closeted self. It will always hold a special place in my heart.
It's been an honor to share laughter with the lot of you. The blog will remain, of course, for those who want to revisit it or even for newer fans, but I will no longer be posting.
