hello friends.
i’ve been thinking about making this post for a while now. i made the decision to hold off until 2019, the year of the killjoys, had officially come to an end, and so it has. unfortunately, the end has come for this blog as well. submissions have slowed and finally ground to a halt as the years have gone by, and it’s no secret that the killjoy fandom isn’t as vibrant as it once was, even with mcr’s return. while i still adore danger days, and i’m loving the resurgence in the mcr fandom lately, it’s time for me to close my submission box for good.
when i started this blog in 2016, i had no idea what would come of it. i was just a kid head over heels in love with the danger days universe (still am, might i add) and i wanted to contribute something to the fandom that became my family. i still remember the rush of getting the first few submissions, of noticing familiar faces coming back to submit quotes again and again, of interacting with all of you through my inbox. since then, i’ve grown up, gone to college, accidentally met a good handful of people who follow this blog in real life, and found a million new ways to appreciate the times i’ve had here. it’s been a blast.
i’ll be leaving all of this blog up & intact, so don’t worry about losing any posts.
