Hey there! Welcome to my quotes blog! My names Reese but you can also call me Prince or Misty! I’m 22 years old, a Rocky Horror and Shock Treatment fanatic, queer, trans, massive horror fan, and fanfic writer.

My favourite characters in both movies are the incestous duos played by Richard O’Brien and Patricia Quinn. I can’t believe I have to say this: No I do not like incest at all. I like the characters but that doesn’t mean I approve of their actions. As a double bonus: As much as I adore Riff Raff and Cosmo, and of course the movies I make quotes for, I don’t like Richard O’Brien at all.

I do incorrect quotes for both Rocky and Shocky but I also talk a lot! You can see that in the #reese rambles tag. And as recently as writing this post, I draw Strapless-Backless-Classical’s quotes occasionally as well! Not tagging her because as of writing this I think she’s annoyed I’m tagging her a bit XD

You ever think about how, at the end of Shock Treatment when Brad, Janet, Betty, Oliver, Oscar Drill and the Bits fled, they had no plan whatsoever. No money. They didn’t know anyone outside of Denton. So where are they going? Is their plan just to keep driving until they find a hotel that’s willing to let them in with an IOU? Will they sleep in the car? What happens if the car runs out of petrol, they’re just stuck there? Does Betty have other mildly illegal skills that could help them out? Will they have to try and explain their situation to the townspeople of wherever they end up? Are they going to be wearing the same clothes for weeks? Like, I wanna read a fic where the happy-giddy-musicalness has worn off and they’re just going “This was a terrible idea. We really should have thought this through.”

Actually let me add a bonus:

Janet has no fucking clue who the good majority of these people are. I don’t think she ever learned Oliver’s name, and she forgot who the bandmates who did get names revealed to her were. Maybe she remembers Oscar because of the band name? But neither her or us know two of the members names. She forgot who they were! All she said was they weren’t going to have any friends later on.

On a side note, does Brad know who any of the band are? Does Betty? Does Oliver? Yeah I’m glad Janet has allies besides those three…

But imagine being Brad, you just escaped a cage where your twin brother was holding you captive to get with your wife, and maybe you recognise Betty and MAYBE Oliver (if he remembers Betty introducing him at the start). But also now you got six random teenagers/young adults (how old are OD&TB? I’ve envisioned teenagers as she calls them “kids” but I may be wrong) also with you in the car helping you escape. You have literally never seen them before. Maybe you heard Breaking Out while Oliver and Betty were breaking you out but otherwise… who are these guys??? Why are they coming with you???
