3. music therapy, do they like listening, singing, a particular instrument?

She’s a day dreamer purely because of music, she loves it so much. Listening to music makes her feel a bit more grounded and happy. My Five plays the guitar too, so playing that casually helps too. She plays small songs she remembers or pieces of what pops into her head. Just having it in her hands to play whatever helps so much.

6. do they prefer group or one on one therapy?

As much as Five likes group therapy and being able to find comfort in others, she also likes being able to have privacy with certain things. So it’s one on one for her. She hasn’t tried too much of group therapy because some of her trauma/anxiety stems from social situations so seeing someone she knows in the group or getting judged is a constant fear for her.

9. do they tend to seek comfort from others or do they prefer to be left alone when having a Bad day?

While Five is a huge cuddle bug, she does take lots of time to herself. She’ll punch out for a day and everyone knows not to disturb her if they see her out and about, or at least not to bring up running or anything. Five will sit and watch birds or sketch flowers, maybe go for a run on her own in the park or around the township. If someone says hi she’ll be friendly and all. If they just say hi and sit with her quietly? She loves that. Mutual silence is very lovely to her: when she can just sit with someone and be comfortable with not saying nothing.

1. painting sessions during art therapy, what do they paint? fingers, brushes, or some unique tool/s?

Finger painting is v fun for my five, she loves the way the paint feels and half the time doesn’t care what she’s even painting. However her favorites are using brushes and oil painting knives for oil paintings 🥺 they’re her favorite

2. art therapy in general, whats their favourite medium?

Her favorite medium is basic pencil. She loves sketching plants and flowers and wildlife when she gets a chance. Later, when she’s a bit quieter (aka traumatized) after S3 she gets to drawing people and sketches a lot of Simon. Then finally sketches everyone at Abel
