after 6 months of waiting, i absolutely can’t believe that TABINOF comes out in just one day? i was originally going to write this long waffling rant about how proud i am of these two gigantic nerds, but the book comes out tomorrow, and there’s no use in dehydrating myself prematurely. so, for now, i’ll just say this – i’m never going to fully understand how these two boys created such a complex and expansive world just by making some videos, and sharing themselves with the internet; but, as a 20-something year old who has always been so scared of getting older, and so scared of losing herself – thank you for letting me grow up with you, dan and phil, and thank you for giving me a place (a world) to hide away to when adulthood gets to be too much. evidently, it means so much.
