Also, is he truly a succubus or more like a concubus? (“Lie below” vs “lie with”— “incu” is “above” because monks weren’t very original with their sex demon names) asking not to judge or pressure but because I previously had a concubus AU in a different fandom long ago thanks to a post here on tumblr that was breaking down the Latin and I just really adore the concept even though not everyone knows it and it’s just a random thing that delights me and may delight others and I’m just really excite

Hi! I would say that yes, he’s a succubus! Regardless of the gender usually associated to succubi/incubi (although it doesn’t happen that much nowadays, I think;;) I thought it would be interesting if he was more “seductive” than their incubi counterpart, according to mythology and folk stories. However I’m interested in knowing more of what the concept “concubus” entails 👀 It’s not a very common term and haven’t found much information about it :’)
