i love when library patrons find out how much the library offers and their eyes just light up with ideas and wonder

libraries are one of my favorite things about living in the US. they’re one of few institutions that i believe truly embody the idea of freedom that the usa boasts. libraries give the people access to books, movies, games, museums, and so much more, very often for free. i have so many happy library memories and experiences and i hope to continue having them. in the spirit of the us holiday i just want to say: libraries are worth fighting for! and worth celebrating!
