Indie Cage Match NYC

Every Sunday at 6:30pm, UCB East. Hosted by The Mannequin Room. RULES - Each team gets 15 minutes to make that sweet improv magic - A winner will be determined solely by audience vote. In the event of a tie, each member of The Mannequin Room will vote one more time - The winning team will return the following week to defend their title. Losing teams can submit again for a future slot - After three wins, a team will be retired from ICM for the year and receive a slot at Cage Match NYC at UCBT Chelsea TO SUBMIT - All team members must have completed the core curriculum (Improv 101-401) at UCB Theatre or the equivalent at another theater - All teams must perform long-form improv - This is an opportunity for indie teams. We define “indie team” as containing no more than 50% house team members (Harold/Lloyd Night or performers in weekly improv shows at other theaters) - Teams asked to compete at ICM will be chosen by lottery and at the discretion of the UCB Theatre - The team you perform with must have the same roster as the team you submitted.
