Never give up, Never surrender.
“It’s too hard” or “It’s making me stressed” or “There’s no hope” or “Why try” etc
Find yourself saying any of these? Are you on the verge of giving up? (On things that are positive and completely halal)
“But it’s too much, I can’t handle it”
Stop right there. Just believe in yourself, Just do it, Impossible is nothing, It’s never too late; these phrases have lost their true meaning. They have been used and abused, overlooked in a heartbeat. Is it truly impossible to accomplish or are you just lazy?
Perhaps you’re scared of the result; you’re scared of being a disappointment, so scared that you’re afraid of taking the chances that you’ve been given. The majority of us more often than not have forgotten that whatever’s written for us is the best outcome possible. However our intentions and actions do lead to different outcomes, if we ask Allah in true sincerity for something and we work towards reaching that goal then the only reason for us in not getting what we want is simply that The Almighty has something better in store for us and those around us.
This can clearly be seen in surah Ar-Rad, ayat 11 [13:11]:
لَهُ مُعَقِّبَاتٌ مِّن بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ يَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ سُوءًا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِ مِن وَالٍ
[thinking that] he has hosts of helpers-both such as can be perceived by him and such as are hidden from him -that could preserve him from whatever God may have willed. Verily, God does not change men’s condition unless they change their inner selves; and when God wills people to suffer evil [in consequence of their own evil deeds], there is none who could avert it: for they have none who could protect them from Him.
Bagi tiap-tiap seorang ada malaikat penjaganya silih berganti dari hadapannya dan dari belakangnya, yang mengawas dan menjaganya (dari sesuatu bahaya) dengan perintah Allah. Sesungguhnya Allah tidak mengubah apa yang ada pada sesuatu kaum sehingga mereka mengubah apa yang ada pada diri mereka sendiri. Dan apabila Allah menghendaki untuk menimpakan kepada sesuatu kaum bala bencana (disebabkan kesalahan mereka sendiri), maka tiada sesiapapun yang dapat menolak atau menahan apa yang ditetapkanNya itu, dan tidak ada sesiapapun yang dapat menolong dan melindungi mereka selain daripadaNya.
True the journey towards reaching our goal is difficult and the idea of giving up is so very inviting. Have faith! All of us are capable of overcoming the obstacles and whatever difficulties life throws at us. Stay true to your intentions and do not give in to the increasing pressure. What we get is what we work for, the more you do the more you get; vice-versa. Keep in mind the reward you will receive in completing the journey. All the joy, satisfaction and relief. Masha Allah. Do not lose sight of the light at the end of the tunnel.
In surah Al-Baqarah, ayat 286 [2:286] it is written:
لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا أَنتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
God does not burden any human being with more than he is well able to bear: in his favour shall be whatever good he does, and against him whatever evil he does. O our Sustainer! Take us not to task if we forget or unwittingly do wrong! “O our Sustainer! Lay not upon us a burden such as Thou didst lay upon those who lived before us! O our Sustainer! Make us not bear burdens which we have no strength to bear! “And efface Thou our sins, and grant us forgiveness, and bestow Thy mercy upon us! Thou art our Lord Supreme: succour us, then, against people who deny the truth!”
Allah tidak memberati seseorang melainkan apa yang terdaya olehnya. Ia mendapat pahala kebaikan yang diusahakannya, dan ia juga menanggung dosa kejahatan yang diusahakannya. (Mereka berdoa dengan berkata): “Wahai Tuhan kami! Janganlah Engkau mengirakan kami salah jika kami lupa atau kami tersalah. Wahai Tuhan kami ! Janganlah Engkau bebankan kepada kami bebanan yang berat sebagaimana yang telah Engkau bebankan kepada orang-orang yang terdahulu daripada kami. Wahai Tuhan kami! Janganlah Engkau pikulkan kepada kami apa yang kami tidak terdaya memikulnya. Dan maafkanlah kesalahan kami, serta ampunkanlah dosa kami, dan berilah rahmat kepada kami. Engkaulah Penolong kami; oleh itu, tolonglah kami untuk mencapai kemenangan terhadap kaum-kaum yang kafir”.
Let’s work our way to success, to improve ourselves and those around us.
In summary: everything (good) is within our reach.
Believe in Allah, Have faith in Allah and only then can you believe in yourself.
Seek and insha Allah you will succeed.
The future is in our hands, do more; be more.
