Merry Belated Christmas~!
Today was one of those few days in which Nepeta Leijon made an effort to wake up before the hours of noon, and that was for no other reason other than the fact that it was “The most wonderful time of the year”! It was this day that she would be able to spend the day with Equius with no interruptions, no other priorities. It was just a day for them to spend together, like a real family should.
As she had made her way out of her room, the smell of a Christmas tree(That she had only suggested Equius to get, mind you) had brought a smile to her lips, and she quickly descended down the stairs, tripping only on the last one. After a smooth recovery, she burst into the living room and glanced at the presents near the tree, half of hers towards him. Equius, though not quite as outwardly excited as her, was still in a good mood. It seemed like such a stereotypical scene from a Christmas movie, and she was loving every second of it.
"Oh, You’re already here. I was hoping that I would beat you this year."
He was up much earlier than that. He usually was but he took even more care to be up early to make sure everything was perfect. That was just the way he was. Always fussing over something even if theres nothing to worry about. So of course he found the perfect spot to sit to wait for her where he was in full view when she came out. Absolutely perfect.
"Well you know how I am."
