New blog over here~
Tried out Medibang + practiced my coloring. I’m quite happy with how this turned out. MC2??? from Mystic Messenger

Anaïs Park / 27
Meet Anaïs, my OC. This is how she looks like before I changed her hair. Recently found out she looks a lot like another person’s OC :3 so RIP old hair. I like her newer hair anyway lol
Reviving this art blog with some Choi twins angst. A whole lot less... sketchy than the previous. Spoilers if you don’t know their past.
Another song comic (?) I had in mind. This time, it’s about the twins~ It’s spoiler-ish, so would recommend you don’t read this yet if you don’t know much about the Choi twins. It’s still a rough sketch, so there’s a bunch of anatomical mistakes. Apologies if the text is a little hard to read;;
Song: S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W/ by My Chemical Romance
It was only recently that I came across that one palette challenge I never knew the source of (if you do, please let me know!). Decided to draw the mysme characters accd to the color scheme I associate them the most with. I’ve actually finished this for a while now, just haven’t gotten around to posting it here.

WIP. JuminxRed!MC
Did it some months ago. Wanted to get it out of my head so I made sketches. I’m still uncertain if I should make them.
Song: The Only Exception by Paramore
A poster I did for our event in my other org. Just wanted to share it.
To be fair, it’s not exactly pixel art cause I treated a 4x4 pixel as one pixel :v
I have now just realized how horrible the color transition in the sky is.
An attempt to draw once a day. As illustrated, I only lasted for two days :v
Thumbnails of various landscapes I tried to copy. Made sure to be inexact and to ‘let myself lose’, so to speak. It’s a bit of an environment/landscape study as well.
Another work for my school org. This is the sketch and I doubt I could show here the final piece. I only have horribly taken pictures of it. This time, it’s about the concept of death. If I recall correctly, I drew this around the first week of October, near my birthday. I have always wanted to die during my birthday and to make sure it happens, I needed to kill myself on my birthday. Every time I thought of taking my life, I always told myself to wait until my birthday. It’s an excuse, really, but it helps me think about it more considering it’s never really a good decision. And now that my birthday was drawing near, I was getting so tempted and so torn to do it. The previous year wasn’t so okay and the weeks before that have been really terrible to me. I just really wanted freedom. I wanted freedom in its absolute form. Back then, I have thought that death is freedom in its absolute form.
In this piece, the thread represents the Thread of Life in Greek mythology and the hand represents Death being picky, or delicate if you see it that way. I forgot my reasons for cutting the hand off. I colored it using oil pastels.
On a non-serious note: stamp tool is the savior. it helped me clean up the scanner shadows at the side.
Tools: Sketch - Canson 9x12 sketchbook, Rotring Tikky 0.5. Final piece - Ingres paper 9x12 (light orange), Sakura Expressionist oil pastels
A practice sketch I did on using animals and, what do you call this kind of art? I forgot. Piecing different things to represent a thing. Anyway, I was also doing that drawing challenge thing, the one where you draw while a song is playing and this is the result. There’s actually three more but it’s less defined as these three.
Songs: Stay - Mayday Parade; Justify - The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus; Hymn for the Shameless - Alesana.
Tools: Canson 9x12 sketchbook, Rotring Tikky 0.5
Artwork I did for my school org. Needed to be in black and white. It’s a piece I made when I was still caught up in an emotional downhill. It’s based around my tendency to be uptight, both on laws and simple day-to-day things.
The cleanup job’s a mess, however. The second picture is the most accurate among the three in terms of how it actually looks like in real life.
Moreover, the sudden change from a simple tree to the head of a rabbit is that it was suggested to me to try incorporating animals into the work. Which I tried and obviously failed. However, it’s a good advice. I don’t mind experimenting on them in the future.
Started the drawing around March 2015. Final piece around April 2015.
Tools: Canson 9x12 sketchbook, various Faber Castell pencils
A hand study I did a while back from a photo I saw off google search. I decided to start posting whatever here. Mostly gonna be a sketch dump now.
Canson sketchbook. Forgot which pencil used.
A late Christmas piece for everyone~
Made with Art Flow Studio
Have to start again from scratch. Initial sketch. Stargazing by a cliff overlooking the city.
