Verse with inmxnitas ; Both Mary and John died in the fire and left the boys with no home. Hannibal, being the kind hearted monster he is, took them in and raised them as if they were his own. They are wary of him at first, but slowly in time they start to feel like he is their father. Dean grows up to be a mechanic and Sammy goes to Stanford and becomes a lawyer and moves back to be close to their father again.

When they finally realize Hannibal doesn’t age, he tells them his secret and because they aren’t hunters and haven’t ever been hunters they still trust him.

Over the years Dean has learned to simplify his routine with hunting.
