hyacinthsgirl:
flames danced in her hues as well as she stared at the fire devouring anything underneath and around him, always hungry, always unable to be satisfied. Just like her, who was always needy to know more, to see more, curiosity pushing her into dangerous situations and making her bump into people everyone else would avoid. But wasn’t here someone to avoid as well? Her appearance was human, but it was only a mask used to deceive others. Only few times had she stopped and thought of how those of her race ACTUALLY looked like, but she never wasted too much time with those thoughts.
Verses about fires and flames danced on the tip of her tongue, but before she could voice out any of them the woman in front of her addressed her, turning to face the stranger only later. And such beautiful eyes she had! Chris could not help but wonder what kind of HELL she came from, since she loved the fire’s presence so much; or so it seemed. “Fire doesn’t scare me,” she admitted, stepping closer, gaze jumping from the flames to the woman. “And it’s the first time I see someone so much in love with it.” Questions crowded her mind, desperate to leave her lips and echo in the empty alley among the sound of the burning wood, but she kept her tongue on a leash, this time. She had all the time she wanted to ask them.
Soft lips closed before they were pulled into a faint smile, a low scoff following suit; eyes focused on the flames once more. To Amy, fire was what she breathed, she WAS fire, had always been before this form was taken, before she left her home behind for something she still hasn’t found. The demon rank high in Inferno, legions waiting for her every command, turned her back on the fiery pits to follow that whimsical mind of hers. One day she would return, though when that would be she did not know & truthfully she just didn’t care. So loving the flames was simply loving herself in a way, difficult to explain but then again who did she owe any explanation to? No one. Adjusting her position she moved legs to the side, body leaning towards the side, the motion allowing pink locks to slid over shoulders. “And why should it? Honestly, I will never get why people are scared of it. It just does what it’s nature is. Nothing more. Their loss I say--.”
A shrug of shoulders, understanding another’s fear was something she simply couldn’t comprehend, doing things that would scare others she was PERFECTLY capable of, she liked the reaction, could figure out what to do to invoke such a reaction, it was fun to her but UNDERSTANDING it was a whole other case. Hand was raised to gesture the girl to come even MORE closer, close enough to feel the heat (that emitted from the demon’s own body). The scent of the crackling wood filled their surroundings and didn’t it smell so nice? Pink now staring at gold, the flames casting an orange glow upon their features.
“Ah? Is that so? Well I am not surprised, fire and I....--we have a unique relationship. You can say that we’re not so different from each other.” Everything she touched would eventually be DESTROYED, her warmth would SMOTHER you, her empty promises SUFFOCATE you. “So--are you going to stay? The flames are tempting, no?” It was then that the pinklette’s smile WIDENED, pearly whites shimmering and finger beckoning the girl to stay & drown in this unnatural warmth. Burning in fire was always better when another soul was there to enjoy it with.
