Hours of money management classes were thrown by the nearest window when seeing who exactly was standing beside the announcer, a rather wicked and content smirk was displayed on plump lips as his eyes were filled by such graceful person. Voicing out prices was easy, not mattering how expensive the amount got, Yunho had to win this. Didn’t help at how the other looked at him at each time he manifested his presence there, barely making himself excited by it, even though deep inside he was oh so excited.

Ended up that, yes, he won the auction. The price? Well, he didn’t care about it. Not when the person pursuing a pair of forever long legs – being displayed and elongated even more by the clothing choice – started a, seeming like, catwalk towards him. Yunho’s throat went dry, but the good actor he is, nothing was displayed other than a pleased grin. Oh Changmin, how good he looked with that suit. He would look even better wearing nothing at all. “I’m more than glad to put this money out for charity, or anything related to that.” Lies, he was glad because Changmin’s ass was his now. “Well, it’s an outfit chosen by a person who got a really good taste. I’d pay the price twice, if needed. Doesn’t help that the person wearing it at the moment suits it so well.”

            Oh, Jung Yunho. Always a noble soul, Changmin thinks as a thread of laughter escapes from his lips. Jung Yunho would’ve bought a patch of wet toast for ten grand if the money went to charity. Changmin certainly isn’t the fool to think there was anything special to Yunho’s visible fierceness in having the winning bid for him just a minute ago. He certainly isn’t. Definitely.

            “I’m glad you’re attending our event, Mr. Philanthropy. You certainly boosted our star power just by being here,” Changmin admits, accepting two flutes of champagne from a passing waitress – one for himself, and one for Yunho, naturally. “My superiors will be overjoyed. I owe you a lot…”

            His own words cause him to trail off mid-sentence. The truth sets in, and he has to resist against taking a nervous sip of his champagne, because that’d be giving out too much. Well… he does owe Yunho quite a lot. Quite a lot. But he shouldn’t think too much about it, shouldn’t make assumptions, or he could end up making a fool out of himself in front of an important business partner.

            Changmin has no idea of what Jung Yunho’s intentions are. He could have – he just doesn’t allow himself to jump into conclusions. So, he doesn’t know what’s to come.

            Not for now…

            “Well, cheers,” he says at last, a slightly sardonic smile spontaneously sprouting on his lips. “To you, for the money. And to me, for organizing the event itself. When joining forces, we’re pretty invincible, I’d say.”

          (… but he’ll find out.)

My character is up for “auction” in one of those charity fundraisers.

          The hammer slams down, marking the end of Changmin’s long-suffered sale period. For what felt like long hours, Changmin had stood there, looking pretty in his navy blue suit as people shouted price suggestions for his head. Or, perhaps, for some other part of his body – but why should he care? The event is a success. Just the money earned with Changmin’s own sale would be enough to put a smile on his boss’ face.             As he climbs off the stage, leaving the spotlight to meet his buyer, Changmin tells himself that why he’s happy. Because his boss will be happy with the successful fundraiser. Not because his buyer is a familiar face. (A strikingly handsome one, looking even more so under the chandelier’s diffuse lighting.)             “That was quite a lot of money you put on me,” is the first thing Changmin says once he’s within Yunho’s earshot. “Could’ve bought me this entire outfit. And, trust me, this wasn’t cheap.”
