Born and brought up near Sheffield, the City of Steel before re-locating to what remains of the ravaged South Wales coal fields, label founder Craig Lee Scott has been surrounded by the remains of British industry for over 29 years. In these situations, you either let history consume and oppress you or find inspiration in the landscapes and communities that remain. Currently working out of a terraced house deep in the Welsh Valleys, Industry is an independent brand that represents the movement from past to present, taking inspiration not only from our country’s working class roots but also from the new wave of street cultures that remind us we are still alive; the brand new communities that generations have built around their shared passions.
