        Asami's workspace at the Institute can only be described         as disorganisedly organised--- tools are haphazardly laid         out and blueprints and other papers are strewn about the         room, tacked on walls, or rolled up in the corner of the room.         At the moment she's soldering metal, working on her latest         project. She doesn't hear anyone enter the room until she         pauses in her work, and only then does she look up, lifting her         goggles to focus her attention on them.

                       you know, i like to think of it as not the end of 2014,                        but   as  the  beginning  of  2015.   endings  are  sad.                        beginnings are great! there’s a whole lot of things to                        look  forward  to  in  2015,  and  even though i’m not                        entirely  sure  what  most  of  those  things  are,  i’m                        excited  to  discover what the next  paragraph in my                        life is going to bring!

                       back in may,  i  made  a  very important  decision:  i                        decided  to  create  a roleplaying blog  for  newt from                        the maze runner. i didn’t think it would last very long                       – after all, none of my past escapades in roleplaying                        had  lasted  very  long.  also,  as  far  as i  knew,  the                        maze runner roleplaying  fandom  wasn’t  especially                        big,     which   would   probably   mean   being   over-                        shadowed  by more popular characters  from  more                        popular fandoms. 

                       however,  you  guys –  the  roleplaying  community –                        have been ever so gracious in your acceptance of me.                        i couldn’t be more grateful for every single one of you.                        despite my being a writer,  i’m really quite abysmal at                        expressing myself,  so  i’d just like to thank you all for                        tolerating me and whatnot.                        hey, there, you. yes, you. i love you. 5ever.         She is surprisingly calm, all things considered,        as she slips her shirt over her head and pulls it down snug.         "Bolin--- Bolin, calm down. Breathe." There's a brief pause        as she mulls over the situation (thinking, despite herself,         that he looks adorably flustered). "It's... going to be fine. We        can just... forget this ever happened, right? You won't say        anything. I won't say anything. So, no one has to know. We'll        just keep this a secret. Everything will be okay." It's not the        most just idea she's ever had, but she can't imagine having to        explain this to the others. Things were just getting back to a sense        of normalcy as it was without this added complication.

                         She doesn't want to imagine the look on Mako's face if                          he were to ever catch wind of this. Or worse--- Opal's.

        It takes a few moments for Asami to get her bearings.         Her head is pounding and there's an incessant ringing noise        resounding that she doesn't realise is the fault of a hangover        until she tries to actually move into a sitting position, sheets        held modestly to her chest--- wait, where the hell are my clothes?

                              Shock registers when she realises her companion is                               none other than Kuvira. With a groan she buries her                               head in her hands. "Not really," she hisses. "Everything                              got kind of foggy after the third drink..." Asami didn't                               consider herself much of a drinker, but who could pass                               up a few glasses of wine during a celebration? Clearly                               she should have thought about it more.

        One glance around the room though is all the explanation that is        needed; clothes strung about, sheets disheveled, Kuvira's lips angry        and red with the remnants of Asami's lipstick like the sting of a scorpion-bee.
