I just want to take a second to point out how considerate Molly is.

When they're on the road, he's the only one thinking about how to prevent everyone from sleeping in the cold and the rain again. He spends his own money on canvas and five tents, and lumber to put a canopy over the wagon.

When they're leaving Hupperdook, he's talking to Matt about wanting to eat well while they're traveling, buying good meat, good vegetables, etc.. And Matt tells him 2 gold and it's the finest meals he can have on the road, and Molly explains he's buying enough for everyone, and then it's five gold, and he doesn't hesitate, and pays to feed everyone. Not just enough to keep people from going hungry. He wanted everyone to eat as well as they could.

No one prompted him to do this. I don't think anyone thanks him, and he doesn't mind. He's happy. He's excited they're all going to eat well. He's just thinking of everyone's needs, and he wants to take care of them as best he can, because 'that's what you do when you're with a group of people. You take care of each other.'
