In everything we make, create and produce there's an invisible ingredient that makes the difference between the better and the best, the ordinary and the extraordinary, the good and the excellent. The involvement of heart in any task performed is that invisible ingredient. The involvement of heart in everything we do called devotion. Either don't do it or do it with devotion, nothing in between

Hello 2014
This year, I spent New Year like never before. I usually gathered with my family, friends, or beloved ones. Today, instead of doing that, I choose to stay at my room, alone and re-thinking about my life. What did Iāve done so far, what do I want to become, to what stage I would like to bring my life to, and of course to find what is the purpose of my life. So, here I am sitting in front of my laptop, writing, on my one last hour in 2013. Now, letās go back to where we started the yearā¦

December: Finisher of 10k run (wohoo!!), finally went to Dunia Fantasi again ā and also got the annual pass for it till Decā14 hahaha
I must say 2013 was hell of a year. Lots of amazing things happened in my life. I earned a lot, and loss a lot, too. It was the toughest one, taught me lot of things during the year. One thing Iām sure that I really thankful for seizing my days during 2013. No regrets and thankfully I can look back with smile when remembering it.

Life, a simple term that consists of only four syllables that turns out not as simple as we thought it is⦠Some night keeps me awake thinking what I aim to be in life, and sadly the more I think about it, it only become more complicated as it can ever be. Everybody aims for a happy life. But it eventually comes back to each one of us how to define āhappinessā. Letās say if happiness is a battery indicators in your mobile device, there will be certain factors that contributes to charge it into 100%. Those contributing factors will be diverse one to another, say relationships, friends, achievements, financially secured, people recognition, etc.
I always believe that the first rules for everything in life is to accept things. In this case, accept that every person in this world lives a different life. Even from our first day in our life, it turns out we are different. We born from different family, different physical appearance, difference IQ, which all of them are given. We donāt have right to choose, and those things are beyond our control. As day goes by, we evolve into somebody, trough also different phase of life, depends upon the circumstances, family, cultures, society and every external factors that shapes us into who we are right now.
Along our life we will meet a lot of people, and at some point of time, somehow we canāt understand why they pursuing that kind of life path, or why theyāre taking that kind of decision. Just remember, every person have their own purpose in life, which by realizing or not, contributed from all the life phases theyāve been through along their life. And you shall not judge whether itās right or wrong, because you live different life with them. Letās start to less mind of otherās life. Iām not telling you to be apathetic, but yea you better use your time to criticize about your life, rather than criticize about otherās life. Itās a human nature to blame others or circumstances rather than blaming themselves. However we should fight against it, because realizing or not, you also contribute on everything happen in your life. When you start to argue and criticize otherās life, you will start to compare your own life with his/her. Thatās not fair, because again, you shall not judge about otherās life. You may not know what makes them becoming like that. And the most important point is, no matter how hard you criticize and argue about peopleās life, you have no right or power to change it anyway. You can only have power to do that if only they permitted you to do that. So why wasting your time? Letās live more peacefully and cheers on others happiness. It will give you more serenity in life and feel happier about it.
One thing you should focus on, is your own life. Because you owned it, and you have full responsibility about that. In our old days, we will enjoy what weāve planted before. So just start to plant a tree with solid foundation, so you wonāt regret it in your old days. Even though we didnāt start with the same life pack, as I mentioned before, you must have the guts to shape it into something you want. Just like driving car, we decide which destination to go, which way to pursue those destination also how fast we can drive. In every route you pursue, there must be some obstacles, which I analogize that as traffic we face every day - especially for Jakartans, HA! When facing traffic, we can find another route to go, or stay on that route with a little more patience. Both are not a bad choice, then again it depends on what circumstances you had at that time. In the end we will reach the destination anyway, only the time is different. As the time will never slowing down, or walk back, please do think before you act. Donāt do things recklessly, or taking decision that only will create solution in short term, and cause you pain the in the long term. However, we shall not think too much, as from what i learned things are only get worse the more you worry about that. Just relax, calm your self down, and live every moment of your life. Thereās one beautiful sayings that i always keep in my mind about living every moment of our life
"Dance like nobodyās watchingĀ ; love like you have never been hurtĀ ; sing like thereās nobody listening.."
just do what makes you happy,
just do things that makes you have no regret by the end of the day.
just enjoy what you have right now, cause we never knew what will happen to us after that.
just..donāt..complicate..life :)
definitely can't resist those tiny fluffy creatures!
2013.
I may call it a year of steep learning curve. It taught me about gratitude, choice, fear, loss, insecurity, responsibility, acceptance, patience, faith, and many more. A lot of big things happened in my life -the expected and unexpected ones- and makes me somehow realize that the world that iām currently living isnāt as simple as it was. It opened my eyes to face the real world, push me to conquer myself, leaving my comfort zone to slowly slowly growing up.
To sum up the year, i learned how important it is to be independent, and trying to fully stand by my own feet. I also learned that everything will come at the RIGHT time, as long as we donāt stop believing and make continuous efforts for it. It makes me believe that everything which worth having, is worth fighting and waiting for. Be a little more patience wonāt kill you anyway, right?
I might not call 2013 as my year (as plenty of my this year resolutions are still left unchecked till now), however i really thankful that i took some important lessons from it - hopefully to equip me and to get ready for welcoming brighter 2014 that just on its way to comeā¦
