things I've learned the hard way, an ongoing journal
-they dont call you heartbroken for nothing. take time to heal -drink lots of water, always -hanger is a very real emotion, so keep others and yourself well-fed at all times -coffee is not a solution, but it sure as hell keeps the loneliness away -if you ask for a hug, chances are, you'll get one -buy bigger shirts. you can always shrink a large, and lots of soft cloth hugging your body can be therapeutic, if that's your thing -look up once in a while -look at others once in a while -sleep, you deserve the rest -crying in public is uncomfortable sometimes, but a true friend will always let you cry on them, make funny comments about how much snot you left on their shirt, and buy you dollar store crayons and iced tea -you're allowed to tell the story of someone you loved, as equal as you are allowed to keep it -do no harm, take no shit, and laugh so hard it hurts -black asphalt is always hotter than it first seems
