constantly making airy offhand comments to my preferred younger son about how he’s next in line for the throne after his brother but he still hasn’t killed my detested firstborn for me. kids these days have no fucking initiative.
I keep sending them off on “boar hunts” together and wouldn’t you know? they keep coming back after with big smiles and boar heads and the unmistakable stench of brotherly camaraderie. what sick sad days are these!
when you move into your first villainous manor you have to make sure you don't set up the lab over wood floors because you can get a NASTY case of wood rot. Like sure, you can use your vast inheritance from your strange aunt who taught you about your ancient mission to forge life anew in as many ways as possible in an act of spite against the heavens to pay a contractor for repairs but that's going to take like four weeks at least so absolutely make sure you set up shop in a basement with stone or concrete floors.

Villain Whumpee being hospitalized and subject to the mercy of doctors and nurses who know all too well what their patient did.
A nurse inconveniently missing the vein for the IV multiple times.
“Rate your pain.” “…Eight.” “Two? I’ll let the doctor know to lower your dose.”
Being sedated whenever Whumpee gets too “aggressive” even though they’re trying to communicate that they’re in pain.
Whumpee asking to talk to the doctor, but getting “They’re busy helping people who deserve it.”
Meal trays being left on the table, just out of Whumpee’s reach.
The room is set cold, lights left on. They don’t bother giving Whumpee a blanket.
Once Whumpee is walking, the humiliation and dread of asking to be uncuffed from the bedrail just to use the bathroom.
Pressing the call button, but no one comes for hours.
And then that one heart-of-gold nurse, or even Hero, finally comes to check in on them.
Finding Whumpee with bruises all over their arms, shivering on the bed with their wrist attached awkwardly to the bedrail.
Even though they’re usually stoic about pain, Whumpee is writhing on the bed, desperately trying not to make too much noise for fear of being sedated again.
Seeing the cold food on the tray, hearing Whumpee’s stomach growling.
And then the caretaking.
“Oh dear. What have they done to you?”
Nurse immediately putting in a request for pain meds, even though it’s the middle of the night and the doctor on shift is a pain to work with.
Bringing Whumpee a couple of warmed-up blankets and tucking it around them. Patting their back, “There. That’s better.”
Nurse sneaking Whumpee their own sandwich because the cafeteria is closed and “You need more than jello.”
Scrolling the computer, “They sedated you twice today?!”
Or Hero seeing it all and deciding that Villain Whumpee would recover better at their own house. Don’t ask how they get the painkillers.
still so incredibly not over how season 1 "I'm sorry I left you alone" Martin became season 5 "why won't you kill the guy I'm romantically jealous of???" Martin and how they are so clearly The Same Martin and we just did not see the deranged depths of his soul until then
obsessed with villains who you just KNOW are aware deep down in their heart that they've done something unforgivable, but the only way to never admit that or face the guilt is to keep doing it over and over again until they don't feel guilty about that first time anymore
