Through Space and Time

So before anybody asks: this goes along with my Divergence AU (which I’m ever-so-slowly working on at AO3), which is why there’s no Roberts!Master or Crispy. They’re married and travelling together in this AU.

This was my self-indulgent Christmas present to myself. It’s the first art I’ve worked on in ages, and it felt great to get back to it. And boy was it easier to draw these outfits now that I have almost every prismacolour marker. I wish they’d make more purples though. 

This was also my first time drawing the back of a chibi. I didn’t know if it would work, but it did, and I’m rather pleased with the result. (And if you zoom in on the Ainley!Master with Eight, he’s got little fangs ‘cause of the Cheetah Virus. They were so small, but I didn’t fuck ‘em up, and I’m super proud, guys.)

There was a brow quirk to the elder Time Lord, he was already *done* with the younger’s stubbornness. “You’re being ridiculous, Doctor, it’s clear that you are ill. If you continue like this you’re going work yourself into a regeneration if you’re not careful.” there was a forming tightness to the Master’s jaw. “Now, let us get you inside with a cup of tea and something for whatever this is you have caught.”

“Oi, You shut up.” The Doctor said. “I’m fine.” He sneezed violently as he left the TARDIS. There were things to do. The time lord though looked exhausted and his face was pale and his eyes glassy. The Doctor sneezed again and grabbed his handkerchief.

“You don’t say?” came the Master’s vocals drenched in disbelief as he followed the Doctor out of the TARDIS, as a sigh escaped him, accompanied an eye roll.  “I truly hope that was an exaggeration, as it may work on your humans, but it doesn’t work on me.” he voiced with a tone as he grabbed the younger’s wrist to stop him from getting further. “Try again.”
