Oh, dear mutual, I have a question of utmost importance for you. How you do draw furries? I don't know if you call your ocs furries or just anthropomorphic animals so sorry. But. I have some ocs I've been working on and I think they're preeetty cool but they're not animal enough (idk how to draw snouts). I totally get feeling like a character isnt animal enough lol. Here's an artistic mini guide to what I typically do with an explanation below(all mammals sorry)

What I personally do is give it haunches/digitigrade legs instead of straight ones and look at a real life animal(or the same species furrified by other artists)in order to implement the more animal features. I do look at a bunch of artists to see what they do with the animal and see if it can apply to my stuff. Another piece of advice: even though its difficult, you should try to experiment with muzzles(it took me a WHILE to do that especially with newguy my dog character. They looked so ugly). They can really make your furry oc look the part.

IN SHORT. Its all about experimenting and finding out what you think looks cool on ur ocs. Let me know if you have anymore questions because my explanations here might be weird lol

I dont have any particular ideas at the moment. I wouldnt at all mind hearing what you have to come up with, your storytelling is really engaging! Im very interested to see what you have in mind(if youd like of course. Also awesome ideas on moon'clan and sun'clan's founders!!!

And the award for biggest bullshitters of sun'clan and horizon'clan goes to.....

I feel like cuckoo'paw(who belongs to @lascanderezosalienhorse )and rooster'paw would try and one up each other in their exaggerations lol. Usually in good fun, though rooster'paw has a short temper so it can eventually get annoying to them. Rusted'paw is probably just sitting there occasionally egging the two on for her amusement. Gatherings are never dull with them!

Sleet'fleck as an apprentice! Poor thing was so shy and anxious about everything. He had chronic kitten face his eyes were Huge

Some backstory on him: he was naturally shy and withdrawn as a kit/apprentice. He was very much anxious about doing medicine the right way, making sure to learn as much as possible. He was making decent progress until the main medicine cat died and he was thrusted into the main position. A lot of what he knows now he had to learn for himself, forcing him to grow up faster. This ended up in a lot of his shy nature eroding. In present day, he's pretty self-assured and very particular in the way he cures patients.

And heres some interactions I thought up of sleet'paw and weasel'snout!(i imagine they'd bond while sleet was a younger apprentice and weasel was a young adult or something like that). Sleet'fleck really looks up to weasel'snout as a sort of mentor-figure. She really helped him get out of his shell and learn a lot of tips/tricks on medicine. He finds comfort in her light-hearted nature(this is true even when he matures, which is surprising because from most other cats it would be met with annoyance from him).

Annnd finally heres this bit I think weasel'snout would play on him. He falls for it EVERY half moon btw when will you learn sleet.

@scarechrow (please let me know if its annoying to @ you every time because me drawing character interactions will probably be a more frequent occurrence. Also question about weasel'snout: is she still a current medicine cat along with patch'pelt or is she retired/dead? I would like to know because I have a couple of drawing ideas I could make with her and sleet

have shown what color Minkstar's clan's (Horizonclan? just spit ballin', maybe you already named and I didn't see?) med cat is? I'm going to draw a halfmoon gathering so I would need to know what color everyone is.

I dont have a clan name as of now but horizon'clan sounds nice! I think i will take that if u dont mind 👀

Im gonna be so honest I just whipped up this design right now lol. This design isnt set in stone but more or less I think he'd look like this

Sleet'fleck is generally quiet. He does his job well and enjoys the foraging/organizing aspect best. Pretty polite. Is in equal parts worried about not having a med apprentice to take over his work one day and relieved that he doesnt have to train anyone. Kinddd of a control freak on how to do medicine stuff and thinks his way is the only right way. His patience runs pretty thin when talking to others at length. Especially with cats like mink'star -- interpreting star'clan omens with her is a NIGHTMARE.

Again all of this is subject to change but right now this is horizon'clan's medicine cat! Feel free to ask more questions!

"Bug hunting"

Anyways yes residents rooster'paw(the one complaining)and rusted'paw(the one suggesting things) are the clan's mischievous duo. They get away with this regularly despite forest'soar(the one theyre pranking)'s complaints. They are like. The only two apprentices since the clan has had bad luck with keeping kits/queens alive due to a previous contaminated food supply situation(something like that anyways). So yeah theyre allowed to do a LOT more than the average apprentice because of the clan's coddling.

There is more to say but I feel like my rambling doesnt make much sense right now lol. Maybe later ill make something more concise
