In tomarry fics where Lily and James is alive, it automatically makes harry terribly innocent and oblivious (no hate, its just something that i noticed) lmao, as if The Lily Potter would raise her only son to be a fool. Its a complete no in her books, the same thing goes with Sirius and Remus.

Sirius hates his family, but he did come from a long line of Slytherins and a Pureblood name, you would bet, he would teach Harry about all the tricks/ manipulation in the book any chance he gets.

And Remus would definitely tell Harry about the stuff that goes on in knockturn Alley.

As if the Euphemia Potter would allow her grandson to be bullied by others. Hell no. (If she was alive) Euphemia would teach Harry all sorts of Politics for him to be ready to take over the Potter and black family when the time comes.

And James would surely teach Harry Auror tricks. (How to stay calm in difficult situations, how to read someone's body language, very dangerous spells to defend himself and connections in the Auror Department for future use.)

C'mon people, He's the son of Euphemia and he isn't Head Auror for no reason.

Female Harry Potter

There's a lot of fem!Harry on ao3 lately. And I'm uncomfortable. I mean, sure, there some fics which are actually really good. Well written and great plot. BUT! There a lot more stories where Harry feels more like an OC because there a lot more projecting than Harry's actual character traits.

(This coming from someone who can't write Harry's character so I write OoC Crazy Harry instead.)

Also, I feel like fem!harry is homophobic (unless the ship is f/f). And if it is f/f then sure, go for fem!harry. The lesbian ships are quite frankly, very few (we need more). But fem!harry that is f/m really seems homophobic. Like, why do you need Harry to be a girl just because your shipping Harry with Draco, or Tom or anyone male.

I'm not hating on anyone who do write fem!Harry. This is just my opinion. And I do understand that some of those stories are really good. I mean, I've read them.

But just an idea, if you want fem!Harry, why not make Harry transition? She would still be a woman at the end (Trans women are women), and your story would be bringing more representation that our community needs.

A Healer's Oath AU

A Universe where, Lord Voldemort wins the First War, Harry Potter is not the boy--who-lived and grows up to be a famous Healer that is known across the the Wixen Community. Harry likes the way things are now, he has no complaints (maybe some) and is content with his life, friends and job. Such a shame, that the Dark Lord is searching for a competent Healer and has his eyes set on a certain Harry Potter – the ward of the Black Family.

Yet that does not mean Harry was a follower, he will never be a follower of anyone except Magick. Harry complies to the Dark Lord, because he wants to live and also he desires to make sure the people that he considers family stays alive , therefore he says 'my Lord' every time the man glides by like a silent predator that he is, he obeys Lord Voldemort demands and sings to the man tune. Not because he wants too, but because he has too.
