Probably one of the most puzzling fashion designers, Kanye West has planted his left foot size 12 Yeezy 350 boost inside the throat of the fashion universe and plans to twist it until he is good and ready to cease. Though he has entered the fashion industry in an unconventional way it is hard to admit that we have not silently witnessed Kanye creep into his position as a premier designer. From popped collar polos and Louis Vuitton backpacks to Adidas sneakers and over-sized t-shirts Kanye has etched his name in an industry that is not designed for the likes of Kanye to have a seat at the dinner table as he might put it. Designer fashion. Despite the high priced clothing, limited sneakers, divided reviews of Yeezy season one and two and his hummer sized ego Kanye is vividly influencing fashion. Each and every year we have only seen growth in his power. It is much harder to enjoy Kanye’s clothing designs than his shoe designs but one thing we know about Kanye is that he is and will always be a trendsetter. Be sure to checkout Kanye's latest interview as he speaks on fashion, music and family. http://www.gq.com/story/kanye-west-showstudio-interview-swish-fashion-yeezy
It's fall so that means that our pick of clothes definitely have to change especially in Atlanta since it will be getting cold soon. Fall is my favorite simply because I can wear a lot more now then I could in the summer. There are 3 BIG things that EVERYONE should have in their closet during these fall months and I suggest that if you don't have them, go pick them up. 1. Boots/Booties Boots are a must have simply because they allow you to dress up an outfit without even trying. Throw them on over some jeans or with a dress or skirt and you are good to go. I find boots also keep your feet a lot warmer and insulated in the cold so you can protect yourself from almost getting frostbite. 2. Utility Jacket Since it will not be too cold or too hot, a utility jacket is the best thing to have for "Just In Case". It looks nice with almost ANYTHING since most of them come in neutral colors. You can easily throw together an outfit and not even worry about which jacket to wear simply because this will make keep you warm and keep your outfit looking good. 3. Sweater There are SO many different kinds of sweaters in our fashion industry that it makes it easy for you to build your winter wardrobe off of mainly sweaters. Sweaters make it easy for you to walk out the door with the most simple pair of jeans and tank top and look all the way put together. Throw on a nice oversized sweater with some booties and your are good to go. Or for the men, a nice fitted sweater (I prefer the patched elbow) and either boots or dress shoes. Either way, the sweater is the BIGGEST must have for the fall and winter. Now, go stock your closet up and remember to K.I.S.S.

How many people really think of a hair part beyond the fashion purposes? The hair part is a fashion trend that has never packed its bag and hit the road. But why exactly are people getting them? Good looks maybe, your favorite 90’s artist rocked it or your super old school father had the barber etch it in your cranium as a kid? Bevel, a men’s grooming brand conducted an awesome project which included short excerpts on classic and new age hair parts. “Take a look from classic to authentically you with the addition of a part. A part anchors your overall look in a truly personalized style based on depth, placement and curvature. From history to hip hop, parts are much more than just a simple line. Add your own part to a base style such as a Fade, Caesar or Waves," stated Cassidy Blackwell. Born from the classic style of rap artist Nas, the half-moon arch has become a go to part. Might also be known as the “the Nas part.” Something about this part says I know urban culture and it echoes in my style. Originally this fade was crafted along with the bald fade but history has seen it evolve with newer hairstyles. The vintage side part, not as famous as the half-moon arch but still holding weight. Former Infinite Appeal Model Michael Oleyede has a history with the classic look. Michael says “The part used to be something my Dad etched in my head when he have me a haircut. I decided to revisit the part in college after looking some photos from my childhood. I love it because it really reminds me of old school Renaissance men.” A much newer hair part and style which combines a Mohawk and cutout is seeing growth in popularity. Instead of ending its path midway through the head like the side part this part extends down to the neck. This part sees so much creativity as other newer parts do. As all fashionistas and fashionmistas know, layering will NEVER go out of style. It is something that has turned into a way of life for many of us. Layering MAKES or BREAKS an outfit but there are so many different combinations that can be made with one simple article of clothing due to this "art". Layering means to wear clothing article on top of one another and was originally used to just keep warm... Well, until the fashion industry took ahold of it and flew with it. Now it adds dimension to an outfit, class, uniqueness. There are many words that describe what layering can do to the most simple outfits. Simple White T-Shirt w| Rounded Hem \\ Distressed Boyfriend Jeans \\ Grey Wool Overcoat \\ Grey Suede Ankle Booties \\ Floral Scarf \\ Silver Leaf Earrings \\ Silver Watch || http://www.polyvore.com/layering_cool_greys/set?.mid=set_share&id=178448591 This is just a simple everyday example of how to layer your clothing in the Fall. It is easy and definitely in this season and every season to follow. You can choose how you would like to wear this outfit since their are so many ways. With the shirt partially tucked or out. With this wool coat or a leather jacket. With some classic white Converse or these cute grey booties. Or even by using gold accessories instead of silver. Dress it up or down, either way, it's bound to be your very own FashionPiece (= Fashion + Masterpiece). And always remember to K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid!)
