I've been really busy/distracted lately and haven't really had the time nor energy to be here, but! I'm not jumping ship! Just going into inconsistent activity/intermittent hiatus, I think. My activity's sporadic to begin with but I might be a little slower going forward just because I have too much going on and it's a real challenge keeping up with things. I'm gonna try to get to replies soon!

I apologize for abruptly going silent yesterday & neglecting to send those asks, I got really busy and after I got home I had a crazy bad mental health spiral. thinking about blog policing reminded me. throwback to like 2016 when I got straight up death threats on a spider-man blog

I'm at work so I don't have time to write up a long post about this but yeah. Blog policing? Unwelcome here. It's one of my biggest pet peeves with tumblr. If you're gonna try to tell me what I can and can't write in my own space, especially about ships? You may as well just unfollow, I'm not going to put up with that. Trying to police another person's writing is so disrespectful and stupid, especially as 99% of the time it involves sending hate mail over something trivial that isn't hurting anyone. I won't tolerate it here, it's a block on sight.

Also - this should go without saying, but writing something ≠ supporting whatever is being written. I wouldn't be writing Albert fucking Wesker if writing him inherently meant I agreed with his views. These arguments are for the true witless wonders of the internet and I have no patience for it.
