not to get too deep on main but did anyone else have such deeply rooted issues with their self worth for so long that they thought as a kid/teen that their only redeeming feature was being âlow maintenanceâ and now as an adult you give yourself guilt pangs asking for any more than the barest minimum in virtually any relationship because asking for things might negate your only good quality which is just âdoesnât ask for thingsâ
#you donât believe you can be liked so you settle for being usefulÂ
every time i look at the mystery gang i have this like visceral feeling that someone is missing. but nobody ever is. who are they. what happened to them
logically i know this is them. these are the only people in the mystery gang. fred, daphne, velma, shaggy, and scooby. thats the 5 of them. but something deep within my lizard brain is telling me theres a 6th member that has been, for unknown reasons, banished from this timeline and our collective memory as a species
people keep saying its scrappy doo but its not. its not scrappy doo because i remember scrappy doo and i dont remember the mysterious 6th member of the gang. clearlyâŚ.it is someone much worse than scrappy doo

gay people invented true love
People will condemn you for liking or even just reading the work of a woman who had like 1 belief they disagree with, or even for liking a female author who didnât do anything they disagree w but who happens to be liked by someone that they donât like. people will literally try to blacklist womenâs work from being in bookstores and send death threats to strangers over something vaguely politically incorrect a dead woman said in 1968 but male authors can be visciously racist and sexist but itâs still ok to read their shit.
âWhat has happened now is that Iâve fallen madly in love with a woman. And it seems to me so absolutely natural and genuine â thereâs nothing problematic about it at all. I just feel proud and uncontrollably glad. These last weeks have been like one long dance of rich adventure, tenderness, intensity â an expedition into new domains of great simplicity and beauty.â

1. your suffering canât end until you stop identifying with it. if your sense of self is tied up in your suffering, anyone or anything that attempts to separate you from it will become the enemy because, whether consciously or subconsciously, you will on some level believe they are trying to take away a part of who you are.
2. read the above again.
