i’ve been gone for a while—-

                     and in my experience, the longer i’m away, the more difficult it is to return to a blog. i’ve had some serious ups and downs and cutting tumblr out was honestly the best thing i could do for my mental health for a while. but i’m learning how to be happy with myself again. and with that, i think i’m ready to write again – because i honestly miss writing gale so much, not because i feel obligated to. but that being said, i need a clean start. i’m already in the process of making a new blog. i will probably be starting clean on threads too, but we can talk about that if you’d like to keep something. i’ll share the link to the new blog as soon as it’s up and ready. i can’t wait to get back writing.

i’m sorry for my absence of late. between being busy, problems at home, and what happened in orlando this week, it’s been difficult to find the space in my mind to get on tumblr and wrap my head around writing. i am okay. however, as appealing as putting myself in someone else’s shoes might be sometimes, i’m not in a good place to jump back in right now. thanks for your patience as always.
