I informed a handful of students that I’ve worked with in the past that graduated this past May about an open job opportunity with my department; most of them applied; letting me know that the quarantine has dampened their job prospects. I remember being unemployed and feeling absolutely miserable so I hope this could potentially help one of them.

One of them accepted our job offer. Feels very surreal to impact someone’s live so directly, but I’m glad they get to start a career.

Missing that feeling of bonding over a new genuine connection, not the shallow swipes or the quick chats of another face and name I’ll forget.

This year hasn’t been the most pleasant to me. In fact, it’s been probably one of the the most stressful and disappointing. Thankfully there’s some old post hardcore bangers that help me cope with the bullshit of the human thought process.

well at least I can say that 2019 brought me two very different relationships that both ended on decent terms. I learned a ton about myself and what I need in a partner. It sucks, but growth is growth.

Onward to something sustainable.
