I’ve seen a few other people talking about it and actually, jokes aside, Armand did warn Lestat he was going to stop him. His very presence was the warning. Larry would probably still be alive if Lestat had listened.

He’s actively listening to your rehearsals through one of your bandmates, and frankly barely hiding it. You said you were going to stop, and now you’re going even further. You just made three new vampires.

This isn’t Armand being a buzzkill. It’s not a petty vengeance against Lestat. What Lestat is doing is human and vampire genocide. Akasha doesn’t even need to be a factor. That’s your food supply. That’s why the numbers of vampires need to be small. Most older vamps try to only kill bad people too but you’re going to run out really quickly. Humans will die out and the vampires will starve. If killing Larry throws Lestat off, then good. Something need to.

Like Jacob says, they had it coming, every single one of them. Though, again, the avenging is cathartic and all but ultimately, not satisfying for more than a second because what does she care? Don't listen to her while she's alive and do this after to make yourself feel better.

2x06 rewatch!

I have an hc that Armand did actually like Sam's play, 'Waiting for Guido'. Coupled with Santiago's performance? My god. Ticking ticking ticking.

Armand definitely knows about the Talamasca, Raglan, Rashid of it all. 'Unless you're sitting on something, behind your encrypted laptop.' He asks about the dinner too. And Louis goes, "Why do you ask? Love?" As in calling Armand it, plus the DM innuendo.

Claudeleine, my babies. I would say, like father like daughter except she gave Madeleine more of a choice than Lestat ever gave Louis. Her saving of her, (still very fucking bitter about Rolin's comments there) Claudia in the sun, the flowers where they buried people, all of it. They loved each other more and better than any other vamp has ever and will ever in this goddamn show

I don't like how Louis treated Armand. How he treated him for most of their relationship. I know Armand is the bad guy and he painted the broad brush stokes, but Louis has an incredible capacity for cruelty (and pre-disposition to owning things, to have a mind for business) and I know he has exceeded all expectations in their 70 year run. 'Lay down in the coffin..' In the beginning, when I first watched this, I did research on healthy bdsm practices. While I know now that that's irrelevant and there's no space for 'healthy' anything in this show, but there is gentleness, love, understanding. It just makes me angry that Armand has been treated like shit, and without gentleness, over and over and over again. (Think Louis' 'HA!' during the Louvre scene) Even when his partners don't think he's done anything. He's just wrong, just molded wrong. doesn't fit well. I now think of the interview that came out where the actors were like this is a relationship were they both regress to their previous roles in life, it's just that Armand's is exceedingly disturbing.

OR, how Louis treats Claudia. I'd like a couple months where you don't fuck things up? Go fuck yourself.

This is going to take me two hrs just because of the number of times I rewinded the Madeleine and Armand scene plus Daniel's shock at finding out Armand has never made a vamp. Very very satisfying. Claudia's (prolly Louis') opinion is true though, Armand obviously did walk in with his mind made up.

Like they pointed out (about asks but still), and I believe them, the only way (at least for me) to deal with at best, disingenuous takes about armand because of race, and at worst, ignorant- is to delete and ignore and block and not give them an inch. Cut off the attention, it's their air supply and watch them suffocate and disappear.
