Yes, her name is Azami. And, SPOILERS, she is set to have an even worse time (in the coming episodes), still has zero idea what the heck is happening around her or to her. So, yeah, checks out: Has no idea what's going on, is having a terrible time.
- If someone uses an umbrella on a sunny day, this umbrella is either bulletproof or yokaiproof. Either way, beware;
- In the Onmyoji arc, Gintoki didn't suffer for a long time, and he also kinda had it coming simply for being himself and being the protagonist of a slapstick violence comedy manga. Natsume has been dealing with hexorcists-induced problems for more than 100 chapters, and he does not deserve any of this (it builds character, though. and teaches him and them valuable lessons).
Natsume-Tsugai:
- Nyanko-sensei claims he's not a cat (do we believe him?). Kotetsu's true form may or may not be a tiger (so, basically, a big cat);
- Not a day passes without me mistaking an Asa fanart for a Matoba fanart;
- the aroace coded MC part does not need an explanation.
Tsugai-Gintama:

- Arakawa is a Star Wars fan, so the human Makoto's birthday (May 4th) may or may not be a reference; Gintama has two Star Wars arcs (the Renho arc and the Beam Sword Style arc);
- Dera plans to (and no one can convince me he has never) drink on Jin's tab; Gintoki... see episode 316, which, I'd say, counts. And the gambling part is obvious.
All three:
- Ishida is in anime adaptations of all three mangas. I don't know what to add;
- Each of these three mangas has a butterfly guy with a shady smile (these aren't even their only similarities), and this fact is the main reason this diagram even exists;
- Gintama focuses on (found) families and ends without canonizing any of its teased ships; NatsuYuu is about friendship and family, romance is something that mostly happens in the background and to characters who appear for a single arc (and Natsume himself has no interest in romance); and YnT only has a fake marriage (the romantic feelings seem to be pretty one-sided, if there are any), and whatever Asa and Gab's deal is (no explicit romance, though. what i choose to see it as is not canon yet);
- Gintama's Sadaharu? Big, white, fluffy, and a dog. NatsuYuu's Madara? Big, white, fluffy, and a wolf (so, basically, a dog). YnT's Jiro? White, fluffy, a dog, and is a big, probably white and obviously fluffy maybe wolf when in true form (so, basically, a dog).
It has been just announced that Wakana Yamazaki, Ran's VA, passed away on April 18th at the age of 61.
Earlier this year, on February 16, Yamazaki stated that she would be taking a leave of absence from voicing Ran due to undergoing treatment for an undisclosed illness. Since then, her role as Ran in Detective Conan was supposed to be temporarily handed over to Akemi Okamura. Her agency stated that the treatment was not successful, and she succumbed to her illness. Okamura will now be the voice of Ran going forward.
Gosho Aoyama also offered his condolences:
