Something to clear up, and feel free to follow or unfollow given this news, I am not a misandrist OR a misogynist. Being one (or none) of several genders does not make you morally superior. It's important to curate an accepting environment not just for others but also yourself.

A good friend of mine rightly coined this kind of behavior as "white boy shit." Trans women who as little boys had 'no girls allowed signs' and simply flipped it around to fit the other way now that they're "enlightened."

I won't dismiss that much of the world exists today to serve men's interests and their preferences. I won't dismiss that even among minority groups there are some with more privilege than others. I won't dismiss that for many queer people that leaving the closet will end in poverty and abandonment.

But I won't stop supporting others who are different than me. Because people aren't just valuable because you can see yourself in them, people are valuable because they're human. If you only see value in a person because they're the same as you, well, there's a word for that isn't there?
