Sleek, meditative, visually and sonically immersive, and just straight up cool. Some typical Jarmusch-esque distractions peppered throughout, but that’s part of the charm. Wouldn’t work at all without Forest. Rating: 8.3/10

I come back to this line every time I feel the pressure to make something sound softer than it was. Rich wrote about truth like it was an airborne vector of contagion. A dangerous thing, often hurtful and violent, but in the end, a freeing act.

If you aren't familiar, this piece is a wonderful account of her evolution as a feminist writer, revolutionary and what I see as the patron saint of 'unexpected women' in a man's man-eat-man world.
