Hey everyone!

I’m not sure if anybody following this blog even remembers it exists, but I’m finally getting off my ass to put this notice up. With Bendy and the Dark Revival’s development being as ambiguous as it is and my muse being focused somewhere else entirely, I simply don’t have the muse for this Bendy (lovingly nicknamed Goopy), so I’m gonna be archiving this blog.

If you’d like to see more of my writing, I’m most active over on @akirathief nowadays. If you’d like to interact with my other BATIM muses, both @inkwise and @toysong are low activity with a running queue. My hub blog is over on @avimuses.

I’m not sure if I’ll ever come back to this blog. I likely won’t, considering how low interest I have in it at the moment. But we’ll see in the future.

AH! Oh no! Goopy is getting buried under all these toys! Look at what you’ve done, Kingston! Goopy might not ever get to see the light of day ever again!

A malformed head pops up from under all these dolls and toys, and, oh! That grin of his looks BIG and GENUINE!

What a turn of events! But now Goopy is giggling happily, waving at Kingston to come down so he can hug him!

How…how did this thing sneak up on her? Vivi didn’t hear any footsteps come from behind but only the sounds of dripping ink from the leaking ceiling. The pool of ink held no secrets or surprise monsters when she waded through to the other side. So where did this…creature come from?

Vivi stepped back for a full view of the crooked, broken ink monster. It didn’t snarl or growl or show any signs of attacking nor did it seem to recognize her as a threat. Its only movements were the ragged breaths and the clicking bones jutting out from its back. She stood her ground keeping her senses alert in case more of these creatures showed.

For now her curiosity shifted towards this lingering figure. “…hi?” Could it even understand her? Or talk for that matter?

It’s...strange, really, how the Ink works in relation to the Ink Demon itself. Puddles of ink held its secrets, perhaps, but the studio’s mascot could transport himself through the liquid. And spying on this stranger caught his curiosity, a trait that’s passed on to him from his cartoon counterpart. He...wants to know more. About this stranger. And. Her color.

“ ...hhhhhrgglrgrrrl... ”

This is a new situation. Unwritten, unscripted, clearly, from the plot that Joey Drew’s drafted. Which means he’s free to do as he pleases, here, and it appears that he’s attempting to speak. But the ink is corrupt and his form disfigured, and all that comes out is a...strangled gurgle. It takes him a few attempts, but Bendy...the Ink Demon manages to gasp out a word.

“ ...hhrrglgrglhhHHHHEeLLOOoooo... ” It’s a strange voice, like an amalgamation of monstrous and cartoonish. But yes, he can understand her.

It’s so easy to leave his cell, lately. When it’d been proven that locking the poor, monstrous toon in closets made a mess of supplies an ink rather than anything else, Thomas, at Joey’s ( rather loud ) demands, ended up keeping the Ink Demon trapped in his own office. But what neither of the two humans know, and NONE of the other staff members as far as Bendy knew, was that the melting demon had long since learned how to phase his ink through the wooden walls.

It’s...a messy form of transportation, but effective nonetheless. And could he be blamed for it? Certainly not. Dreaming of freedom came naturally to the mock-cartoon, and he is willing to take whatever opportunity he can get to sneak out of the supervision over him, even if it led him...

...chasing down the source of music.

Semi-blindness made Bendy sensitive to noise, and yet one things that he’s kept from his cartoon, on-screen counterpart is a love of music, of song and dance. Unfortunately, a lack of a perfect, on-model body has made him lose touch with his performance title, and the misuse of black magic has him at a loss of a proper voice.

But it doesn’t stop him from curiously peeking into the room full of instruments. Each one he spies instantly piques his interest, and he’s not too concerned of anyone else who’s nearby.

No, he’s more curious about the piano. A hand reaches for the keys, but he hesitates.

Dripping ink CAN’T be good for the instrument, can it?

Another day left alone in the corner of a...more or less unused room. It’s sad to say that the melting demon has gotten used to the treatment--get locked in a closet or an office, and be avoided as staff members came and went with nervous glances in his direction. Sometimes he wishes he can approach those humans, but often they run away from him before he can say ( gurgle? ) anything.

( Sometimes they even scream at him. He doesn’t like how loud it gets. )

Regardless, this goopy Bendy is keeping himself distracted by drawing. Not on any of the papers, of course--he’s heard enough times from Joey, and several other workers, that the papers are too IMPORTANT to be drawn on. So instead, he’s drawing on the floor with an inky claw.

The pink-haired stranger has returned!! And now Goopy is cuddling close to them, give a very, very happy gurgling-purr as he does.

Watch those horns! His head is leaning against them now.

And who is this cartoon he’s suddenly face to face with? In all honesty, the Ink Demon hasn’t been expecting Joey to be able to pull off bringing another character into the real world, especially considering how he himself ended up.

But...this newcomer looks a lot like him--a lot like Bendy. And if this is INDEED meant to be another BENDY...

Well. It’s not going to do well on his thoughts, that’s for certain.

So, for now, he kind of seems to...kind of sink into a puddle of himself as the other draws near. Oh, dear...

It’s apparent that the ink demon is curious about the instruments. They look like fun to play! If only his melting appendages could even work the darn things. As it is currently, the monstrous creature’s attention is turned away--it seems that he DOES respond to that name. ( He is, after all, Bendy the Dancing Demon! )

Slowly does the inky arm pull back from the banjo.

Oh, right. It wouldn’t be a GOOD IDEA to get ink all over the instruments, huh? If it isn’t for the fact that his expression was always stuck with that god forsaken grin, he would’ve given the music director a sheepish look. But, well, he can’t really EMOTE beyond that smile, so Sammy’s just gonna have to deal with another gurgling noise. This time, though, it sounds very, very faintly like the word “ SORRY ” is somewhere in those bubbles.

If the inky abomination could visibly blink, he would’ve just then. This toon... looked a lot like an on-model him. And also like Alice, if a bit...smaller. But he’s confused and curious, he almost forgets to respond.

               Ever since he started to wander about the studio, ever since one too many particularly NASTY interactions with several of the studio’s staff, Joey has demanded that he should be locked up and out of sight at all times in order to avoid hysteria. ( Of course, this doesn’t help much--Goopy won’t admit it can’t even say it but he’s learned that he can phase his ink through the wooden boards. )

               It gets incredibly lonely, really, and boring when he’s trapped for so long.

               But Oreo’s company chases the darker feelings away. Of course, their first encounter frightened the meltier of the two. After all, a new Bendy means that he’s officially replaced, and if he’s replaced then ANYTHING could happen to him--

              Ever since they started spending more time together, though, he’s come to like the newer Bendy.

              He’s kind of like a little brother!

              ( He’s always wanted a sibling. )

              Of course, staying in the closet with nothing to do is kind of...bothersome. He’s tired, and not really paying attention, when he starts to make some sort of gurgle-purr noise as Oreo pats the space between his crooked horns. He gives a weighty nod of his head, and droplets of ink fall onto the ground. Oh well. He’s always been kind of a mess.

             Regardless, he’s telling the other that he’s alright. Just a little bit tired. He doesn’t want to go back to the doodles that are scattered about the floor...and are made on the floor.
