words come out soft, having not spoken for the last few hours with eyes on the road and the other asleep. thinking, probably too much about life ahead of them. on the run forever, though not ideal it’s better than sitting in jail while being an openly gay man. car stops, bright lights of the motel hitting his blue eyes.
