something ive noticed in ddlc is as the game progresses the mc starts to talk less and less. at the start of the game he was pretty chatty and flirty with all the girls. and he was still pretty talkative after sayori, but as the game got more corrupt and the characters (yuri mostly 😭) got more obsessive, he stopped talking unless he had been asked a question or forced to talk to one of the girls, and he ends up completely silent when monika talks to us.

adding onto this when monika brings back the other girls he seems way happier and nicer. he even joins the club by his own volition and changed his way of thinking about sayori, like hes excited to see her again
