A 3-page IchiRuki comic that actually stayed 3 pages! Inspired by this wonderful lovely beautiful perfect headcanon here. (Although I’m not entirely sure if Japanese women take their husband’s last names when they get married. I’m Korean, and we all keep our own last names when we get married… but anyway.)
(Minor headcanon about Rukia’s headpieces: the kenseikan she got from Byakuya when she became Captain, the snowflake headpiece she got from Ichigo as a wedding gift. She wears both of them every day.)
In case people find it difficult to get what’s happening on the last page:
Rukia: B-baka! She was obviously calling ME! Why would you respond to ‘Kurosaki-taichou’?
Ichigo: ‘Kurosaki’ is MY name, Rukia! You married me and took MY name! Why can’t you just be Kuchiki-taichou or something?
Rukia: Because then people would confuse me with Nii-sama! Why can’t you change your name to ‘Shiba’, then?
Rukia’s Lieutenant: (thinking)… to be honest, two ‘Kurosaki-taichou’s wouldn’t be a problem if the two of them weren’t constantly together…
Ichigo: What? I can’t just change my name whenever I feel like it! Besides, I like my name!
Rukia: Moron! What if I like being called ‘Kurosaki-taichou’ as well?
Ichigo: …. you like being called ‘Kurosaki-taichou’?
Ichigo: *picks Rukia up and flings her over his shoulder*
Rukia: I-ICHIGO! PUT ME DOWN!
Rukia’s Lieutenant: Kurosaki-taichou, WAIT—
Ichigo: *shunpoes away with Rukia*
Rukia’s Lieutenant: They’re gone…
Rukia’s Lieutenant: (thinking) … will I ever get to tell Kurosaki-Kuchiki taichou that Bykuya-Kuchiki taichou invited her to tea…?
The answer to that, Rukia’s Lieutenant, is a ‘no’, I’m afraid :P
As for what Ichigo shunpoed away with Rukia for… I’ll leave that to everyone’s imaginations >:D (hint: they’re gonna have sex)
