i’m still kinda mad that hermione and ginny hated on fleur just because she was beautiful and they were bitter. but i hope that they realized their petty grudge and went on to have a cool ass friendship with fleur where they make fun of their husbands.

but this is kinda how girls are/were raised. If someone was exceedingly feminine, then they were thought of as less than, or worse or terrible. And that was one of the points of the Fleur. There were so many people who thought she was stupid and thoughtless because of her looks, but they all came to realize that there was much more to her than that

I mean, personally, I hate how I used to think about femininity when I was younger. I hate that I used to think that it made you weaker, that it was somehow worse than more masculine traits.I hate how I used to hate the color pink because it was ‘for girls.’ Fleur is the epitome of all things soft and feminine and she can kick ass, but it took people a minute to realize that, bc things that are soft and feminine are often overlooked. 

I like to think that they went on to have a cool ass friendship too. And they all def made fun of their husbands.
