Stopped by the local quilt expo this weekend - so many beautiful quilts! I may have picked up some fabric while I was there and I may have immediately got home and started cutting into it. Lots of hourglass blocks and sashiko-inspired quilting - I’m excited to see how it all works up!

When the photographer is coming tomorrow, that means everything on the design wall needs to be finished! I was given two totes full of quilting supplies, one from my great-grandmother and one from my great-great-grandmother. I was able to know them as a child before they passed, but having their work in my hands as an adult is a surreal experience. These are my great-grandmother's pieces that are closest to done, in order of finishedness, all quilt tops.
