So, when you’re an “adult” in “business” you have these weird circumstances where you have to be a professional on business trips and you work super hard to impress the senior level people you work with and sometimes it feels successful and sometimes you don’t know. And then there’s free booze and you can indulge somewhat but have to figure out when to stop and your boss is amazing but you’re so much younger and have more to prove. And then your colleague, who you consider your friend, doesn’t make the best first impression, and your boss wants you to be honest with her, to help her, because she respects you and considers yo a friend. You’re younger than your colleague, have been with the company for less time. What do you have to prove? What is your life? I don’t know, I’ve had too much free booze.
