“You’re cheating on me.” Kylo had spat at you with a false sense of calmness in his tone as he glared at you from across the room. You couldn’t help but gawk at him as you tried not to choke at his words.
Did he just accuse you of cheating on him?!
The two of you had only been in your shared quarters for a span of a tense six minutes while you tried to figure out what was wrong with your brooding significant other.
Kylo had been distant to you all day but you never imagined it was this that was eating at him. And of course it wasn’t true, you were not cheating on him! You loved that man more than anything, even if his mood swings gave you whiplash and he wasn’t exactly the most romantic thing in the galaxy.
But this? You never would have expected this to come out of his mouth.
You inhaled a deep breath as you tried to form words. Any words. “W-what?!” You stuttered out, staring at him as if he were a force ghost.
But Kylo only deepened his glare and you could practically feel the rage that radiated off of him.
He was a tall, broad, muscular form of rage. He seethed and his body shook from the anger he tried to withhold and the heavy breaths he raggedly breathed out through a clenched jaw.
“You’re cheating on me.” He iterated again, this time moving around, circling you slowly.
You shook your head frantically and tucked loose strands of hair behind your ears with shaky hands.
“I’m not!” You yelled but took in another breath. “I’m not cheating on you.” You said more calmly this time.
Kylo snorted as he circled you, carefully training his eyes on you. “Liar.” He seethed.
You gasped and you could feel the burn of tears forming in your eyes. “I’m not lying!” You desperately tried to tell him. “I’m not cheating on you…”
Kylo clenched and unclenched his balled up fists, ignoring you as he looked off. “I should have known…” he started. “I mean, look at you. You look so guilty.” He remarked as his glare fell back onto you, looking you up and down.
You furrowed your brows at his statement. How could you look guilty when there was nothing to be guilty of? No, in fact, you weren’t guilty. You were scared. What the hell was going on and how could he just turn on you?!
You started towards him, not even thinking about his uncontrollable anger. “Kylo please… I’m not cheating on you!” You seized his arm and he ripped it away from you.
You let out a squeak, half hoping that this was some sort of shitty joke.
“Kylo…” you began again. “Please… What is going on-“
Kylo cut you off by gripping onto your throat and bringing you dangerously close to his twisted up features that were normally so beautiful.
You instinctively grabbed onto his wrist as he held you up, cutting off your oxygen. “K-Kylo…” you gasped with wide eyes. He’d never hurt you like this before.
His golden brown eyes that were normally filled with love for you were now replaced with hatred. “You’re a liar and a whore.” He spit out and tears began streaming down your face as you shook.
Kylo threw you down onto the ground like you were a weightless doll and you gasped, swallowing the air that had been withheld from you. You clutched at your aching throat from where he had harshly held onto it and peered up at him through damp lashes.
Even though you were now absolutely terrified of this man, the man that would have never done this, you couldn’t help the ache in your chest from seeing him so upset.
“Kylo please…” you tried again and Kylo only stared down at you with cold eyes, so you continued. “Why would you think that I’m cheating on you?” You rubbed your throat trying to dull the ache.
Kylo hissed and turned away, shaking his head and slowly walking away from your slumped form that was still on the floor.
He didn’t give you an answer, so you bravely got up onto shaky legs and leaned against a cushioned chair that was conveniently nearby.
“Kylo.” You called out softly to him, not wanting him to hurt you again.
Kylo turned and stormed towards you and you yelped, moving behind the chair to put it in between the two of you. Kylo placed his large hands onto the armrests and leaned over, not once removing his gaze from your eyes.
He was smiling now, but not a warm smile. It was cruel and sinister, and he had never looked at you in such a way before. You swallowed.
“Hux told me all about it.” He seethed as he barely controlled his distaste.
You eyes instantly grew wider at this new piece of information. Hux, General Hux. Of course. You almost wanted to laugh but you withheld it, knowing it wasn’t even close to a good idea.
Before you could say anything Kylo continued. “At first I didn’t believe it, but then it started to get really convincing.” His glare deepened and his cruel smile disappeared.
“What Hux told you was wrong!” You exclaimed desperately. “H-Hux tried to ask me out!” You stammered as your eyes pleaded with him to listen to you.
Kylo just stared at you as he narrowed his eyes so you carefully walked around the chair to stand beside him.
“I turned him down and he got angry…” you explained, trying to keep your voice calm. You wanted to touch him but thought better of it.
“I didn’t cheat on you Kylo, please believe me… please… please.” You pleaded. You were crying harder now as you got more desperate.
Kylo was still hunched over the chair, staring at it and unmoving other than his heavy breathing.
When you saw that he wasn’t going to do or say anything, almost like he was thinking over what you had just said to him, you decided to throw your logic out the window and grasped onto his arm, hugging it while burying your face into his bicep.
“Kylo please! I wouldn’t- couldn’t cheat on you, I love you! Please believe me…” you sobbed into him, feeling him stiffen.
You finally broke, not caring about what he had just done and said to you. You loved this man with everything you had and you desperately didn’t want to lose him.
Kylo stiffened when he felt you latch onto him. He was mulling over what you had just told him as he was having a realization.
Of course, that made sense now. Hux had been so eager and persistent, and at first he didn’t listen, because Hux couldn’t even say who you were supposedly cheating with. But, the way Hux talked about you and what he said, it began to get more convincing the more he said it. However, when he went over it now in his head, he realized it was anything but that.
What had he done.
Kylo gripped onto the armrests hard as he finally tuned into your sobbing and pleading on his arm.
He straightened up immediately and turned to you, you looking up at him with fearful surprised eyes.
Kylo’s heart felt like it was being squeezed out of his chest. He noticed the marks that were already forming on your neck. He’d done that to you.
Kylo reached out for your face and you backed away, releasing a whimper. He shook his head at a loss for words as his eyes softened, realizing the mistake he had made.
How could he allow himself to believe such a spiteful man like General Hux?! Guilt tugged at him, crushed him as he thought about what had just happened. The rage he had so willingly released on you over what Hux had told him. How he had so easily physically hurt you and the nasty things he called you.
Kylo had reached out for you and you had unintentionally backed away from as you whimpered, afraid. His movements were so quick that you had thought that he was going to hurt you again. But the way his eyes softened for you and the guilt that was so present over him made you relieved.
You rushed towards him and wrapped your arms around his broad torso, crying softly into him. You didn’t care. You had him back. You didn’t care.
Kylo seemed shocked and stood there, unmoving, as he felt your arms squeeze around him. You had looked so afraid of him, how had you changed so quickly.
Kylo came to his senses quickly and wrapped his arms around you, his embrace almost crushing, not wanting to ever let you go. He nuzzled his face into your hair as he muttered apology after apology into your ear.
He needed to correct the awful mistake he had made. He’d done a terrible thing in believing Hux, which the ginger would pay for later, but what was even worse was he had hurt you. It was the worst part of it all.
And Kylo was desperate to make up for what he had done. Along with the muttered apologies, Kylo held you tightly against him while he ran his hands all over you to soothe you. He was basically begging you to forgive him at this point.
Eventually your crying had subsided and you relaxed into his strong hold, enjoying his warmth and comfort. Kylo was still desperately trying to make it okay and you decided to let him. You had already forgiven him, even though maybe you shouldn’t have been so quick to do so. But you couldn’t help it, you loved this man. And you were just so damn relieved that he had finally listened to you.
You pulled away from him and leaned up on your toes to kiss him. Kylo stopped then kissed you back, visibly relaxing. He was relieved too.
However, Kylo wouldn’t allow you to forgive him so quickly, because over the next couple weeks, he would be making it up to you in various different ways.

The Reason
Walking through the grey halls of the Finalizer rushing to the Intelligence room, you started to think of how much your life had changed since you got to know Kylo, at first the mere sight of him made you shiver, his imposing figure demanding respect and spreading fear into the bodies of everyone standing near him. That was until he noticed you. You were the best at Intelligence Department, you brought in a great amount of resistance members to the First Order and countless informations that guaranteed the success of this organization.
It was the end of your shift, you were walking as fast as you could to the mess hall dying to eat something, you had been hearing your stomach complaints for about two hours now, but you had decided to ignore em’ in order to finish what you were working on. It was a terrible decision, you were starving. And then, you crashed with a huge black figure, falling to the ground.
“Stars, what the fuck are you? A mountain?” you said trying to get back on your feet, cursing the giant in front of you of every bad name you could possibly think. When you managed to stand up and look to the man you crashed into, you frooze, your blood stopped pumping and your face lost all it’s color. “S-Supreme Leader, I’m so-so sorry, I didn’t see it was yo-you”, you whispered facing his terrifying mask.
Great so this is how I’m going to die, starving after a work day at a corridor in this stupid ship
“You clearly did not” the mechanic voice reverberated inside of your brain making you even more scared “Or you might have a death wish, I think you need to be taught a lesson”.
Much to your surprise the night ended at his quarters, he taught you a lesson, but it was the most pleasurable lesson of your life.
That was the start of a series of encounters between you and the Supreme Leader, he would often take you to deserted meeting rooms, computer rooms and his own private quarters. He was an incredible and absolutely gorgeous man, but it was hard for him to open up, so it took about five months for your relationship with Ren to be more than just sexual, you fell for him fast and hard.
Now everyone in the Finalizer knew you were Kylo’s girl. It was annoying sometimes, you weren’t able to make any new friends, they all feared your lover, and you were constantly being followed by some troopers, Kylo was very protective of you, that’s why you haven’t been outside the ship since you and him started to date. It’s not like you didn’t appreciate his concern, but you missed feeling the breeze making your hair move, the sensation of sun against your skin, the adrenaline of a mission, the high after being successful. However, every time you brought the topic on a conversation with him he quickly said no.
You got to the Intelligence Room still in your head, but it wasn’t long before your eyes met a red haired man, taking your thoughts elsewhere.
“General Hux, a pleasure to see you, sir” you said stopping at the door waiting for his command.
“Thank you, L/N, I was just starting to tell you colleagues about a mission that will take place in Bespin, we need someone to infiltrate among locals and check an information about a Resistance recruiter working in the area” he said, with a monotonous voice and a certain mischief on his eyes. “I was hoping that you could take the job, you are the best at this after all and you haven’t been active in field for almost a year now”.
“It’s a honor, sir. You can count on me”, excitement started to pump in your veins, you were thrilled, you loved to act as an undercover for the First Order the only problem would be to tell Kylo about it, you weren’t so sure he would understand, but this time you would stand your ground.
“I’m happy to hear that, L/N, we will be leaving at 0800 hours in the next cycle, see you at the hangar” he said making his way out of the room. “Yes, sir”, you answered doing your best to hide the excitement in your voice, but you were certain that you had failed.
Your anxiety increased with the passage of time, you barely touched your lunch and by the time you finished your shift you felt like you were going to die. You took the longest path to Kylo’s quarters, you knew he would feel your anxiety the moment you got closer to it, and you weren’t exactly looking forward to the conversation you were about to have. After a ten minute walk to his place you were finally standing outside the door, you typed the passcode with shaking hands.
“What’s wrong?” he said, the minute you walked in, getting out of the living room couch and making his way to you “Someone hurt you?”. You shook your head, tears of anxiety falling slowly down your face. “I w-was assigned on a field mission by Hux” you whispered cleaning your face with your hands.
“I’ll tell him that it is not a option, don’t worry, I won’t let anyone put you at risk, love” he wrapped his arms around you “I missed you” he said into your hair. You shook your head once again, leaving his embrace “You don’t understand, Kylo. I want to go. Don’t get me wrong, I love every single moment I spend with you, but I really love what I do, I miss being undercover, I like the thrill of it, it makes me feel alive”
“That’s not up to discussion, you. are. not. going. End of story” he said with anger dripping from every word. “You are right, Kylo, this is not up to discussion, I am going, I was just letting you know, not asking for permission”, you knew it wasn’t going to be easy but you needed to be firm, to make him understand.
“You are not going, Y/N, you are weak, you are not capable of it, you are going to fail and then you are going to get hurt. It’s that what you want?” he barked at your face, eyes filled with rage. Every single word was like a punch to your stomach. “You don’t mean this, Kylo, stop being a dick. You’re just scared”.
“Scared? You should be the one terrified, you’re a nobody in this Order, if anything happens to you, no one will remember you.” now the tears were streaming down your face, you couldn’t believe he said that, it seemed that you were back to the day that you bumped into his chest, he was a stranger to you once again.
“Well, if I’m a nobody to this Order, than I’m nothing to you, Supreme Leader” you didn’t wait for a reply, before he could hurt you again you were going back to your quarters, leaving him and his anger behind. As you turned around the hallway you could hear the sound of his lightsaber going through his furniture.
Kylo overreacted, he knew it, but the thought of losing you killed him on the inside, you were the only good thing in his life, the reason that he got out of bed every morning, why he tried to be a decent person, and he blew his chance, his rage got the best of him. So he made a plan to win you back, Ren was standing at the hangar maskless with a basket full of your favorite things in one hand and with a speech in his head.
A ship landed there, but it wasn’t the ship you went to Bespin with. He started to panic and make his way to the vehicle. The ramp lowered and there were a great amount of troopers with injuries and covered in dirt. The basket was quickly forgotten on the ground.
You were nowhere to be found, that’s when his eyes met Hux, he quickly made his way to the red haired man, now with dirty clothes and a purple eye. He caught the man by the throat. “Where is she?” Kylo gritted through his teeth. “The ship exploded, and she was nowhere to be found, Supreme Leader” he whispered, having trouble breathing. “Prepare my ship” Ren barked to his subordinates letting Hux fall to the ground “If she is dead, your head will be standing in my quarters walls by the next cycle”.
His trip to Bespin was quick, his anxiety consumed every single atom of his body, he couldn’t lose you, you couldn’t die knowing that his last words to you were so cruel, he didn’t mean it, he knew you were very much capable of anything but he was so scared, he felt like the little boy he left in the past. When he got to the crash he almost emptied his stomach on the ground, the ship was destroyed, everything was on fire. Fighting against every feeling running through his body he tried to concentrate on finding your signature through the force, when he felt you he almost cried, relief coursed through him.
Your signature was there, it was a week one, which meant you were seriously injured. Without thinking Kylo made his way through the fire, and he saw you, lying on the ground with burns all over your small body, a few feet away from the crash. The following hours were a blur. He saved you and soon you two were back on the Finalizers hangar. He stayed with you in the med bay and threatened every single doctor encouraging them to save you.
You had had serious burns and broken bones caused by the impact when you were thrown away by the explosion. When you woke up you were in so much pain that all you could do was scream, he held your hand and let you squeeze it as hard as you needed. The treatment was long and hard, Kylo wished that he could take away all of your pain, but even his force healing abilities weren’t developed enough to do that. So he stayed there, by your side, helping you eat, helping you shower, helping you take your medication, talking to you until you slept, holding you tenderly through your nightmares. After two months in the medical bay, you got permission to get back to his quarters, you still had daily appointments to check on your burns and physical therapy to attend.
Walking was still a challenge for you since you broke your pelvis so he carried you there, and covered you with love. Your fight was now long forgotten, he apologised when you were still in the med bay, and it didn’t take you long to forgive him, you could see in his eyes how much he loved you, and his actions didn’t fail to prove that you were right. Ever since the crash Kylo whispered how much he needed you and adored you every single night before you slept. A year after he saved your life Ren asked you to marry him and you didn’t think twice before saying yes.

You sat in the corner of the room, observing the young child who played the piano with her father. She was the sole purpose of everyone’s travel to America, to stand witness against the Volturi, to protest her accusation of being an immortal child. After accidentally becoming friends with Carlisle after a run in with a vampire, you were thrown abruptly into the world of supernatural where you learnt that the myths and legends you were told as a child weren’t as imaginary as you thought. When Carlisle revealed to you that his adopted son Edward had managed to get Bella pregnant and their spawn was apparently an ‘immortal child’, which to be honest didn’t seem that bad but when various covens from around the world appeared in Forks, declaring that they would stand as witnesses and fight against the volturi, which wasn’t common knowledge to you until recently, you realised that you had no chance of leaving and decides to aid the Cullen’s in any way possible.
Many different Covens of vampires had aided Carlisle’s call for help, they were all different yet the common feature of blood red eyes had set them apart from the Cullen’s and made you on edge. One of the Romanian vampires had appeared to be fixated on you from the moment you were introduced as friend and not food, which not only made you uneasy yet extremely curious. After days of milling around the house, helping Renesmee with her reading who became alarmingly educated after days of being born as well as her continuous growth spurts, you decides to ask Edward if he knew the reason behind the Albino’s unwavering watch.
He confessed that he had read the Romanians’ mind and had discovered the mate bond between the two of you. Edward educated you on the fundamentals of mates in the vampire world, the shock that you not only had someone to take care of you who was specifically designed but that they were a vampire, a creature you had previously thought to be folklore.
Around the campfire, you watched them recall their covens destruction by the hand of the Volturi and how they vowed to take revenge. Now how about we get to know each other a bit better?” You smiled and nodded as he took your hand a placed an icy kiss on your knuckle. The cold seemed to be slightly more bearable with your mate.
The crackle of the fire harmonised with the piano’s melody, the tense atmosphere had dissipated. The remaining vampires were in joyous spirit as they embraced the freedom.Your eyes drifted along the room to Carlisle and Esme, wrapped in each other’s arms as they watched their family.
“Draga mea?” A husky voice whispered into your ear, sturdy arms wrapped your middle, pulling you into a solid chest. Vlad rested his face on your shoulder as he murmured various Romanian phrases into your hair. You turned your head to look at your fair haired mate, his ruby orbs peered up at you.
“Yes?” Your voice quiet as you brought your fingers in-front and intertwined them with his. Looking forward towards the young hybrid who sat coddled among her family, you smiled as you reminisced of your family. Vlad moved himself towards your front, blocking your view of Renesmee, cool hands still woven with yours as he smirked down at you.
“Are you ready to go?” His weighted accent drawled as he spoke, the three of you had planned to travel before finding a temporary abode where you would be turned and a coven would be begun. You agreed to met Vladimir outside with his coven partner Stefan after you had said your finally goodbyes. The auburn haired child looked towards you in anticipation as your mate left, she now stood infront of the seat and watched as you walked forward. Opening your arms, she rushed ad jumped into your embrace and clung to your neck, after returning the little one’s hug and detangling yourself from her grasp, you moved towards Edward.
“You’ll always be welcome here, with us. You’re family. Remember that.” He spoke as he brought you into a gentle hold. You broke away and gave him a smile, “I know, don’t think you’ll get rid of me that easy.” You both chuckled as you walked towards the coat rack, reaching for your coat you turned around and gestured for the two figures to follow you outside.
As you eventually reached outside, hand clutched by the energetic hybrid as she somewhat dragged you over to her grandparents. She stood next to her grandfather’s legs as you brought Esme into a strong hug. Her cold, slender hands cupped your face as she placed a gentle kiss upon you forehead and whispered a ‘good luck’. Carlisle moved towards you in a similar fashion and placed a hand on each shoulder, a warm sensation crept up your neck at the earnest way Carlisle reassured you that you were a Cullen, and how he hoped he would see you again in the near future. Moving away from the older Cullen’s, you walked over to Stefan and Vladimir.
Stefan was leant against a tree as he watched you come closer, you stood next to him as you looked up and saw that your mate had perched himself on a high branch, grinning madly down at you. Stefan laughed as he saw his coven mate act so free, as if the thought of revenge was never there. Vladimir jumped down and landed beside you, his arm tightened around your shoulders and weaved you through the dense forestry. Stefan appeared to your left, his arm also sheltered your shoulder. The three of you had begun walking away from the house before a feminine voice called your name, you had just managed to turn before the dainty figure of Alice came bursting into sight.
She jumped into your arms and littered kisses on both cheeks before returning herself to the ground, “i’m going to miss you” she cried before pulling you into another one crushing hug. Her mate Jasper stood behind her, poised but happy as he watched Alice fret over you, much to the annoyance of your mate who pouted at the interruption. A scoff was heard from behind you and you saw an agitated albino from the corner of your eye, but before Alice could hug you again, you were abruptly hoisted over Vladimir’s shoulder.
The hearty laugh from Stefan along with the murmuring of your mate was all you could hear, lifting your head you saw Alice’s frame tucked under Jasper’s arm as well as the appearance of the other Cullens. Renesmee excitedly waved as you were carried off, returning the wave to the coven you caught Alice winking at you and with a little wave of her own, you could feel your face aflame as you quickly looked down as the forest floor became increasingly interesting. After a short walk, the three of you had made it to a clearing, the trees had dispersed and the ocean appeared in your view.
You walked towards the cliff ledge, looking across the vast land, a deep breath released from your chest as you imagined the rest of eternity spent exploring with your mate and coven. Vladimir once again appeared next you and watched the returning waves, his stony hand grasped yours and brought it to his lips, “for the rest of eternity, I get to spend it with you, draga” he spoke, “I shall cherish you forever.” He now turned to look at you, eyes gazing into your own, almost mesmerised. You returned the gesture by placing a warm kiss upon his knuckles before turning around to Stefan and motioning for him to come beside you.
The dark haired vampire stood beside you, watching you intently, you kept your hand intertwined with Vlad’s but also grasped Stefan’s, holding them tightly at your side. “This is it.” You spoke out loud, “the beginning or our forever and always.” Both Vampires squeezed your hands gently, Stefan was the first to break away as he turned back around ad began to walk towards the clearing. Vladimir let go of your hand and began to follow his coven mate, you stood and admired the ocean for one last time before joining your mate as you walked towards your new life.
Pacing around my room I felt my chest aching, my hand gripping onto my robe, my hair was a mess, tears flooded my face but couldn’t even clean myself up or calm my breathing down, I could feel my own heart panicking and bouncing against my chest wanting to burst at any moment.
His words echoed through my mind. He was angry once again, his dark eyes shooting a strong pain at me, his tight grip on my shoulders as he yelled. I couldn’t even process what he wanted as I shook in fear.
My body was weak and I just fell down onto our shared bed, not even noticing the footsteps coming into the room. It was him, I could tell by his familiar smell, those black boots stopping by my feet that I happened to be looking down at.
His deep voice making me feel uncomfortable and nervous.
“Matalia. Princess. Please look at me,” he spoke up
“No. I can’t even look at you Ben,” I replied my head shaking in return
“Please Princess, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it.” He said as he kneeled down in front of me.
He tried to grab my hands but I pulled them away in fear. He understand he went too far in the argument and sighed. Looking up at me, gently lifting my chin up.
“I’m sorry for everything I said, I shouldn’t have grabbed you like that,” he said as he sees my exposed shoulders with bruises from where his hands gripped earlier
“You mean the world to me. I’m sorry that I haven’t listened to you, you’re right, the dark side is no place for us. No place for the little one.” he mentions as he places his hand on my stomach
He stands up and pulls me into a hug, my hands hesitated to even move, but soon managed to wrap around and grip onto the back of his shirt, tears still falling down my pale cheeks, Ben holding onto me tightly, rubbing my back and letting me cry it out.
“I love you more than anything in this universe. I want the best for you and the baby. If you truly believe I can be a good Jedi then please, let us go, i was scared that I would not be good enough, I couldn’t believe the idea of me being a good father, but seeing the pain in your eyes hurt more than anything. I will be taking us in a ship tonight. I no longer want to be Kylo Ren. Only Ben Solo. I’m sorry for everything Princess.” He sniffled
He was now crying making me pull away from the hug and hold his face in my hands, wiping away those painful tears off his cheeks. A soft smile appeared on his lips as he leaned in and kissed my lips gently.
Ben had such a soft side to him and I missed it so much. I could feel his mind heart showing once again, the one I fell in love with. I nodded in return and grabbed my bag, putting what I needed inside, grabbing my lightsaber, slightly trembling at the touch.
His hand holding onto my wrist looking into my eyes shaking his head slightly.
“You need to calm down and not do anything of the sort, I’ll protect my princess and Prince” he smiled making me raise a brow
“P-Prince?” I questioned
“Yes. Our son that you carry, I can feel his heart beat” he hummed and I just pulled him into another hug feeling relaxed finally
“Take us Home Ben.” I said and he nodded in return.

Y/N POV:
After Demetri left I shut the door and leaned against it and sighed. Letting my thoughts run wild.
How do I tell him? Where do I start?
What will he think of me? Will he still want me despite my troubled past and demons?
Logically know what I am thinking is ridiculous, mates are meant to be forever.
But what if its not meant to be?
What if?
It has to be done, and there is only one way to find out. I guess.
CAIUS POV
I heard Demetri's voice from outside.
"It's about your mate"
The same moment I heard him mention my mate I opened the door to my office quite agressively and saw a shocked Demetri.
"What about her? Has something happened?" I said as soon as I opened the door as he had my full attention now.
"Master Caius. Lady y/n is requesting your audience this afternoon at your shared quarters." I heard Demetri say.
"Do you know the reason to why?" I asked Demetri.
"No, she didn't tell me" Demetri told me.
"Tell her I will be there, your services here is no longer needed at the moment." I said to Demetri harshly, calmer than usual but still quite firm. I watched him leave and head towards her and mine shared quarters.
After Demetri left I felt worried but also relieved that she won't be ignoring me any longer, as much as I love her my patience where running thin and I would have gone and angrily demanded an explaination to why she is ignoring me.
I retreated to my office chair and sighed as I looked down at the stacks of paper at my desk, hoping to get some paperwork done before the evening, distracting myself and hoping time would pass by. I sighed once again.
It’s funny, I have been lived as a vampire for over three centuries, by now years felt like minutes when you are as old as I am.
finally the afternoon has arrived and I could finally talk to my mate.
I locked the office and made my way towards our quarters in my wing of the Castle. My anticipation and nervousness increased with every step I took. and none to soon my quarters could be seen.
Y/N POV:
I sat feeling anxious about the situation and took a deep breath to calm me down. It was now or never. I thought preparing myself for every possible outcome. How will he react to the shadows of my past?
I heard a knock on my door indicating that Caius has arrived.
"Come in" I said in a loud tone. a few seconds later I could hear the quiet creaks from the door as it opened.
" Amore?" I heard Caius beautiful voice say.

Nothing seemed to be going right for you that day.
You had spilled your breakfast, breaking a glass in the process and had scared the two Romanian vampires thinking you had gotten hurt.
Stefan cleaned the glass to avoid any accidents.
Then the window wouldn’t shut when the room got too cold after you were complaining about being too warm.
You had nearly screamed the house down when you saw a spider that Vladimir begrudgingly got rid of and eventually the constant disruption had begun to irritate them.
When the door know on the door had broken to get into one of the rooms upstairs, you nearly walked into the door. You gave the knob another twist. Nothing, something still resisted. Even if it was expected considering it’s an old house, it was still a major inconvenience. You didn’t think twice about going to ask Vladimir and Stefan for some assistance despite them almost pleading with you to stop disrupting them. It wouldn’t leave you door the rest of the day after what transpired.
“I can’t get the door open again.” You whined.
“I told you before, you need to twist the knob all way and then push forward.” Stefan grumbled.
“I did! It’s not working! Can one of you help?” Stefan sighed, taking his head into his hands.
“I am done with the incessant racket you make with every waking moment!” Vladimir suddenly bellowed making you jump. “I am finished with these games! It’s like trying to occupy a child with nothingness day in and day out whilst trying to juggle the things that are actually important!?”
You were taken aback. “I just-” Your voice was quiet and Vladimir quickly cut you off.
“You’re being a pest and inconsiderate. We aren’t here to run around after you! All morning we have been trying to create our plans and all morning you have pulled us away! Can’t we have time to ourselves!? Is that so difficult for you to comprehend!?”
You took a step back, closing your gaping mouth. “I thought you two wanted me to depend on you.” You said lowly. “You’ve ripped everything else in my life away from me so I have no other choice. You wanted me to live here, you told me to ask you-.”
“There is more to me!” Vladimir snapped. “I could be so much more if you wouldn’t hinder us so!”
You couldn’t believe what you were hearing but weren’t surprised by the behaviour. Vladimir always escalated everything. Even if you had come to expect that, it didn’t mean his words didn’t hurt.
“Give us five minutes, (Y/N) and I will be with you shortly.” Stefan’s tone was cold but a clear attempt to lower the tension.
“No, forget it. I’ll do something else. Maybe figure out how to fix the door.” You said bluntly and moved back up stairs and closed the basement door.
You found some tools in the storage room and took even longer to find anything in the library that would tell you how to fix the door. You didn’t.
Therefore, you figured you might as well make the attempt by observation. It wasn’t like they weren’t already angry with you so there was no need to avoid things such as the risks of breaking the door. It took two hours and you were exceptionally pleased with ourself when you still had a functioning door that was somewhat improved as you could now open it. Even if the knob was a little more difficult to twisted, it opened with much more ease.
Dinner was awkward to say the least.
Both of the Romanians were quiet if not talking between themselves as you ate silently. You weren’t sure why they had sat with you bringing their own heavy old books with them. However you didn’t care to find out given the sting of Vladimir’s words previously. You couldn’t help but sneak the occasional glance between the two.
Vladimir said nothing at first but quickly lost patience as usual. “What is it?”
You looked between the two vampires. “What?”
“Do you have something you wish to say to me?” Vladimir pressed.
You looked at your plate and shook your head dismissively. “Why? Why would I say anything to watch you sneer at me?” You said quietly.
“Sneer at you? I do not sneer at you.” Vladimir looked at you incredulously, anger in his eyes.
“Trust me, sweetie, you don’t need to most days. You make yourself clear perfectly well.” You replied.
Vladimir slammed his hand down. “I’m giving you an opportunity to talk since you enjoy hearing your own voice so much that you’re going to sulk like a kicked puppy when you’re told to shut up!”
“So now you want to hear me!? Now you want me to talk!? Do I take damn requests too!?”
Vladimir stood from his seat. “Don’t use that language with me- Don’t ever use that language with me!” Vladimir bellowed.
“Yes, just like I can’t walk too heavily, heaven forbid if I even breathe too loud. I bend over backwards, I defend you time and time again for the things you two do. I give you my all, my whole heart and all I get back is that look from the pair of you!” You turned to Vladimir. “Annoyance, anger, it’s condescending and it’s maddening!”
Vladimir let out a growl of frustration. “Oh if my mate were here perhaps I wouldn’t have to deal with you!”
Your fork dropped to your plate in shock.
You knew fine well that Vladimir loved you and that you and his late mate weren’t alike. He didn’t see you as her replacement. Although to say that his mate would know how to treat you knowing if she were still alive you may never have met him. That stung just as his words had before.
“Maybe you wouldn’t.” You grumbled. “I’d love to pick her brains though. Maybe she could give me some insight on how to live with someone as insufferable as you or maybe you’d be more tolerable if she were alive, hm?"
Vladimir’s darkened with fury, his jaw clenched as he held back a snarl. You considered yourself even at that point considering he had hurt your feelings twice. Now you had hurt his in return.
Stefan’s hand slammed down on the table. "Enough!” He ground out. “I won’t have you two speak to each other this way.” The hand on the table clenched. “I never want to hear you two speak to each other like that again. I won’t stand for it.”
You felt a wave of tears begin to well up in your eyes as you stared down at your plate. Vladimir’s stare hadn’t left you. Stefan’s eyes narrowed on Vladimir. “Vladimir, I said that’s enough.” He growled.
Vladimir broke his stare. “Fine.” He mustered out.
You swallowed hard trying to breathe evenly through your nose and stop the tears. Good thing you were just about done with dinner because you weren’t hungry anymore. You stood up and walked to the kitchen with your plate.
Only Stefan watched you as you hurried upstairs. They could hear your futile attempt at holding back the tears.
Vladimir didn’t look at you. You thought it out of stubbornness but in truth his words as well as yours replayed. Everything about it was wrong.
Vladimir was wrong to snap at you and you were wrong for trying to hurt his feelings. You had hurt his feelings. Stefan stared him down coldly when they heard the bedroom door shut.
“Satisfied?” Stefan growled lowly.
"No.“ Vladimir replied.
"That was too far. Bringing her into this, you know how much that hurts.”
“I didn’t mean it like that.” Vladimir sighed.
“I do not care what you meant. Never say that again. Never compare or bring her up to (Y/N). I don’t care what they say or do, you will not cross that line.” Vladimir nodded. “I don’t like that I said it to begin with. They made me so angry talking to me like that.”
“They irritated us today just as we irritate them some days. Why did it have to become anything more?” Stefan asked with exasperation and let out a sigh. His eyes shut when he heard your sob. “I will give them some time before I go to make amends. I think it best you calm yourself before you say a thing to them.” Vladimir silently agreed with another nod.
You locked eyes with Stefan the moment he entered the room.
However to your surprise, he greeted you with a smile as he approached. He smirked as he stood up upon the bed and over you as you lay curled up in a ball. He reached his arms out to you and you looked at him with confusion. Tentatively, you reached out and he took your hands pulling you up to a stand quickly as you stifled a squeal. The sound made Stefan laugh and you felt his cold nose, nuzzle your neck slightly.
“Listen to me…” Stefan breathed against your neck. “I love you and I never want to upset you or see anyone else upset you. A lot was said today and I want you to realise none of it was true.” He pressed a kiss to your neck before resting the side of his face against yours. “You are so important and so special. We worry so because we do not want this life of running for you. We want you safe so that we can treat you like the royalty you truly are.”
You said nothing but allowed Stefan to pull you closer. “I apologise for my part in today’s events. I’d never want you to feel like an inconvenience in your own home. Not with me. Not with anyone.” Stefan looked at you and you slowly nodded.
“I’m sorry too. I didn’t mean what I said.” You said quietly, winding your arms around his neck.
“I know you didn’t, darling.” Stefan said softly before capturing your lips with his own. He hummed softly in approval when you kissed him back. He smiled slightly into the kiss as he tended to do most of the time.
“I can think of a few ways I can make it up to you.” He said cheekily.
“Although, I think I better hold onto such ideas until later.”
You playfully rolled your eyes. “Are you feeling okay? You don’t wait for much and certainly not that.” You grinned.
He feigned offence. “You make me sound feral, darling. I can contain myself perfectly fine, thank you…” He said as he broke away, turning towards the door. Before he took a step, he looked back at you, grabbing you by the shirt and pulling you into him for another kiss. “…when I want to.” Stefan added with a wink before letting you go.
Later that night, you were about to get up to get ready for bed.
You nearly jumped to see Vladimir leaning against the door frame, silently watching you.
“You scared me.” You said quietly before burying your head back into the pillow. If you knew Vladimir he’d say nothing and just choose to stare at you. “Are you going to sleep soon? Its past ten.”
You nodded. “Yeah, soon.” You replied. You heard a ’whir’ and suddenly the bed dipped behind you. You looked behind you to see Vladimir lying beside you. “I don’t want you going to sleep tonight thinking I’m angry with you.” Vladimir said quietly before he wound his arm around your waist.
“But you are.” You replied quietly.
“I was. There is a difference.”
You nodded at his response. Although you couldn’t help but be saddened still by the situation.
You felt Vladimir’s thumb rub a spot on your back. “Don’t think anything of it. I apologise and regret how we dealt with the situation. It’s one of my many flaws as I am sure you have noticed.”
“It’s understandable. You don’t need to apologise.” You said softly.
“I do because of how it made you feel.” Vladimir replied firmly. “You tried to reconcile with me and I refused and ever since you’ve been tucked up in here. That upset you in my stubbornness.”
“I’d never fault you for that. Either of you.” You whispered. “I kept pushing, like you said. I was overexcited.”
“(Y/N), we love you for those things. We love you for not holding it against us. We love you for your joy and hyperactivity. We don’t want you to feel you can’t be yourself. We have just had a terrible attitude lately and I can only apologise for behaving such a way towards you.”
“It’s okay. You’re forgiven.” You smiled slightly.
“Just remember that we don’t hold such things against you either. Once its done, its done. We need our time to process, that is all there is to it. So don’t worry yourself. So you can be overexcited, we knew that when we fell in love with you. Its hardly a surprise. You see, I worry that you take these moments as an attack on you or a reason why we’d leave you. I hear it in the way you talk and its stupid.”
You giggled slightly. He continued.
“It is! It is so stupid but so ridiculously human of you!” Vladimir rolled his eyes with a sigh. “It won’t happen. I will love you until I am dead- until the end of time itself. Our bond is unbreakable.” Vladimir’s hold on you tightened. You felt the urge to hold him but decided against it. Instead you, somewhat nervously, fidgeted with the covers.
Vladimir’s eyes narrowed on you. “Hold me, damn it!” Vladimir quickly threw your fidgeting arm around him.
“I didn’t ask!”
“You don’t have to when I’m already holding you!” Vladimir argued back with a sigh but a smile adorned his face.
“Vladimir!” You giggled.
“Now give me a damn kiss.” He said before his lips captured yours, muffling your laughter against his mouth.

“We’d have to be careful about our method.” Stefan said and Vladimir hummed before Stefan continued. “We go about this the wrong way and the consequences affect them. The last thing we want is for (Y/N) to think they’re being judged. It’s an awful thing to call to question how someone celebrates those around them.”
“They love us the same, I know that.” Vladimir said.
“Yes, it’s finding a way for them to be able to balance that affection.” Stefan’s gaze lifted to Vladimir. “However you’re going to have to meet them half way with this. That means making yourself present more than you do.”
Vladimir sighed and Stefan continued. “The only reason why they don’t give you affection in the same way is that you’re barely there. They don’t know how to show you and I at the same time because they don’t have the practice. I made the effort to be more present, so should you.”
Vladimir huffed. “Fine."
"Dragul Meu, come sit with us. We need to talk.” Vladimir reached for you.
“Uh oh, am I in trouble?” You eyed the two men on the sofa in front of you playfully.
“No.” Stefan replied with a small smile.
You hummed, before sitting on the chair in front of them.
“We just have a little concern and we’d like to share it with you.” He explained as the two leaned forward slightly. The smile began to falter, you weren’t convinced you’d like what came next. Even if you had no idea what they were about to say. “It’s come to our attention that…” Stefan and Vladimir looked to one another before Stefan continued to speak. “… you’ve been selective with your affection, unbalanced if you will. I get more affection than Vladimir does and whilst it isn’t necessarily a bad thing.”
“It’s something I’d like to change. More of a balance- equal.” Vladimir cut in sending a look to Stefan that he’d take over.
Your smile was completely gone and you had a worried expression upon your face.
“We’re aware this is very different and that you’ve just started getting comfortable with the both of us being mated to you.” Stefan said gently.
“I-I wasn’t really good at showing affection to begin with.” You said quietly, stumbling over your words ever so slightly.
The two leaned in closer, sensing the change in you.
“We know.” Stefan said, reaching for your hand. “We know, darling and you’ve done so well. You wanted to do that for yourself and you’ve done a wonderful job.”
You looked to Vladimir with tear filled eyes. “I didn’t mean to upset you or make you think that I…” You managed out before a sob wracked your body.
Vladimir immediately moved to his knees before you and took your waist in his hands, leaning in close.
“Listen to me, dragul meu.” Vladimir said lowly, his forehead against yours. “You haven’t upset me. Cast such a thought from your mind. I know you love me just as much as you love Stefan and I know I love you more than you could ever imagine. I’d never make you do something you were uncomfortable with. We just think that some slight alterations could be made. That’s all. It’s something we need to work on too.” He finished.
“Vladimir knows that he needs to be more present.” Stefan explained. “He and I are very aware that we are very particular about affection so that makes it more difficult for you. Don’t think for a second that this is completely your doing. It’s us.”
Vladimir cradled one side of your face. “I hate to see you cry, my love. Don’t cry. Not for me.” Vladimir pressed his cold lips to your cheek, pressing loving kisses upon the area. “You’re my world.”
“It’s a learning point for all three of us, my sweet.” Stefan gave you a smile, squeezing your hand slightly.
Before you went to bed that night, you sought them out. You found the two in conversation in the study.
“Sorry, I’m just heading to bed so I wanted to say goodnight?” You reached out to them. Your silent offer. Your offer was accepted with smiles from both. You moved into Stefan’s arms with ease, pressing a gentle kiss to his lips.
However, you surprised them both when you turned with ease to Vladimir and kissed him just as gently. Vladimir made sure to return the affection, lovingly stroking your cheek.
You broke away. “I didn’t think about it, just went for it and hoped for the best.” You said bashfully.
Vladimir gave you a small grin. “It was nothing short of wonderful, darling.” He gave you another quick kiss, before you stepped back and headed to bed. Vladimir and Stefan grinned at each other, very pleased indeed.
Their heads hit the pillows in unison on either side of you, startling you. Both kept a barrier of duvet between you and them. Stefan answered your look of confusion. “You tried for us today, it’s only reasonable that we do the same.”
You couldn’t help but break into a smile.
Vladimir’s arm wrapped around you as you felt him nuzzle into the side of your head. Stefan’s arm was a little higher up your body. You turned your head to Stefan to meet his gaze. Bringing your hand to the side of his head, stroking the available skin with your thumb. The position allowed Vladimir to nuzzle into you further, burying his nose in your scent.
You had fully intended to go to bed alone as always. Although you found this much more preferable.
It was pitch black outside. The only light available was the lights on your dashboard, the Cullen’s house to your right and the moonlight.
You had just driven home from a rough day from work. What didn’t make it better was that you were going from one stressful place to another.
The tediousness of a job you despised only to return to the Cullen’s who were fearful of their demise as well as their friends. The Volturi would be arriving in days. The tension only building. You had to hold it together for appearances sake. For the humans, but you also felt you had to for the Cullen’s too. You were one of the few that could cry.
He hates to see you cry. But he can't seem to want to let you go.

Kylo doesn’t know when it started, he couldn't understand why he was here in the first place. You stood kneeling before him, tears in your eyes. Your pleas muffled as he drew his lightsaber, he didn’t plan on killing you. He wanted to come in peace. But, your family just chooses not to be ruled. How was he supposed to stay in the dark side? If your family, mere peasants, chose chaos over peace.
Your tears paint the grimy floor, as you beg for your family's life.
Not yours.
You stared right through his mask, his breath hitched as he felt the tingles. Tingles he didn’t allow himself to feel. He was the commander of the first order, your family, chose this life. Chose to end their life.
Your blood curdling screams were heard throughout the night as Kylo slaughtered your family. cries followed him out of the hut you hid in. You were the only survivor, you were the example.
‘‘Bring her to me.'’ Kylo commanded as stormtroopers forced their way onto your people. You fought against the troopers forcing you into the command shuttle. Your sobs loud as you mourned your family.
This was the first time Kylo had seen you cry. And even as you begged for him to kill you too, he seemed to only focus on the tears streaming down your face.
He hated seeing you cry.
You refused to eat. He tried being the nice guy, you just refused to cooperate. Kylo had no other choice, you left him no choice.
‘’Get away from me.’’ You spat as you kicked and screamed. Truth be told, Kylo found you amusing. He liked that you still had the fight in you. Your anger and aggression did things to him, he felt things he'd never felt before.
You were strapped to a chair, as Kylo read your mind. Your thoughts consisted of multiple things. The most prominent one. Your hatred for him. He clenched his jaw under his helmet. You should feel grateful for being in his presence. He granted you mercy. He gave you a home. Deep in his head however, a voice yelled at him for bringing you here, it’s not what you wanted. He ignored that voice, He always did.
‘’You anger only fuels your hatred.’’ Kylo hummed his voice disoriented from the helmet he wore. Your refusal to look at him made his hands clench into fists. The leather squeaking at his force.
Your body was suddenly flung into the wall as he choked you with the force.
You clawed and scratched at the invisible strength tightening around your throat. Your voice cracked as you gasped for breath.
Even like this, you still wouldn’t look at him. This only angered Kylo
Your body slammed onto the floor as you gasped for air. Crawling away from him.
‘’You’re still holding on. Let go!’’ Kylo didn’t know why your refusal to acknowledge him enraged him.
You had nothing for him, he gained nothing from you, you meant nothing to him.
The force was close to killing you.
He almost killed you.
Kylo took small careful steps towards you, as to not scare you. You crawled away in fear.
‘’You think I’m a monster.’’ Kylo didn’t know why he continued to antagonize you. He couldn't stop, your fear gave him power.
Your breath hitched as he removed his helmet. Your eyes closed before you even got the chance to see his face.
Why were you so difficult?
Kylo slammed his helmet against the wall. His frustration and anger got the best of him as he drove his helmet into the wall repeatedly.
His breathing was hard, shivers ran down your spine as you finally looked over at him.
He was beautiful.
The scar running down the side of his face, made him look so fragile.
‘’What more do you want from me.’’ Your voice was raspy from dehydration. Your skin pale, you lacked the strength you had minutes before.
You both did nothing but stare at each other.
Kylos chest heaved up and down from anger, and yours from fear.
You eventually looked away as he made his way out of your ‘room’ more like your cell.
You fell asleep from the exhaustion that night, your body weak and fragile from your lack of sleep, and refusal to eat. Kylo watched seated next to your bed, as you twitched in your sleep. He prodded into your head reading your mind. As the same nightmare of nights before plague your head. He was the protagonist, your family, his victims.
He clenched his eyes shut, as tears fell from your eyes. Even in your sleep you despised him.
He really hated seeing you cry.
You were more careful, you never left your cell unless you were allowed. If you were pliant, He wouldn’t show up. It has been more than a month of you being here. You still had no idea what exactly you were even doing here. You weren’t a Jedi, you were not part of the Resistance. So why were you still here?
You had no one to talk to. Sleep was your only escape, your thoughts no longer your safe space. You felt him in your head every once in a while. And each time, you would try to shut him out. You knew the only thing he would see were your thoughts of his face. The thought alone was embarrassing.
You were going insane.
‘’Y/N’’ You heard someone whisper, your head snapped up as you arose from the tiny cot in your room. Your door slid open as you squinted from the bright light. It was a stormtrooper.
‘’How do you know my name?’’ You asked suspicious. ‘’We have to move quickly.’’ Is all they said frantically looking around. The stormtrooper grabs hold of your hand as you both rush down the hallway.
Your bare feet slapping against the cold floor, as he led you down sharp corners. You made it to what you guessed was an emergency door. The wind cold, as it lashed on your cheek. A smile on your face, as this was the first time since you were brought here that you’ve seen the outside world that was not from your cell window.

“Yes…this is how much territory we inhabit and our numbers, a significant difference as you could probably tell.”

“You do not know how to read, do you?” Vladimir asked.
“Nor write.” You added.

“Does she know?” Stefan asked lowly.

Vladimir growled again, slamming a hand on the bed as he tried to control himself.
“I’ll take it from here.” Stefan smirked at you and Vladimir finally rolled off of you and moved for some space. Stefan grinned down at you. “Accidental bruising is tolerable, my love but we can’t have him biting you now can we? It’s my turn.” One thing came to mind with Stefan’s expression. You were at his mercy. You were his prey.
Vladimir wiped away your tears before planting kisses all over your face.
“Ingerul meu.” He said quietly. So quietly that you almost missed it.
Vladimir kissed your lips as you felt his hands run down your bare back.
You inhaled sharply as you felt a sharp pain, pulling further into him.
Vladimir broke away looking over your shoulder. “I apologise, my darling.”
“What is that?” Your voice quivered as Vladimir hushed you softly.
“It appears we were a little rough, darling. We’ve scratched you. Did you feel when these happened?” He asked.
You tried to think back. Sure there was stinging here and there every so often but no real pain.
You slowly shook your head and inhaled sharply again at the sting when Vladimir ran a finger along one of the scratches. He gave you apologetic kisses along the curve of your shoulder as Stefan returned with a cloth in hand. Half dressed with his trousers and belt but without a shirt.
“Here, deep breathes, my love.” Stefan said sweetly, before lightly wiping around the scratches. You tensed and instinctively tried to move away but Vladimir hooked an arm around you, holding you to him forcing you to lean your head on his shoulder. You couldn’t help but dig your nails into his shoulder blade but he didn’t seem to mind. You whined as Stefan dabbed at the scratches.
“They aren’t too bad, only little spots of blood darling. Almost completely nothing at all.” Vladimir tried to reassure you.
“That with some of the bruising you have, you’ll be wearing loose clothing and taking it easy. Perhaps we really shouldn’t let ourselves get carried away after a hunt.” Stefan mused to himself.
Vladimir wrapped his other arm around you, cautious of the scratches up and down your back as you whined again.
“I know, we hurt you.” Vladimir kissed your shoulder.
“It’s not that, it just…stings.” You mumbled.
“There there, it’s alright. He’s nearly done. We just have to ensure they’re clean.” “There, I’m done. Come and lie down, my darling.” Stefan said softly, tossing the cloth aside.
You lay your head on Vladimir’s chest as your hand reached over to grip Stefan’s.
“You were so good.” Vladimir hummed, already smiling at the find memory. “Weren’t they just?” Stefan grinned. “You were very good to us, sweetheart.” “You’re so special.” Vladimir mumbled to himself. “Te iubesc, draga mea.” Vladimir said as he ran a hand through your hair.
“We love you.” Stefan corrected him pointedly.
“Sleep now.” Vladimir said quietly.
Nothing seemed to be going right for you that day.
You had spilled your breakfast, breaking a glass in the process and had scared the two Romanian vampires thinking you had gotten hurt.
Stefan cleaned the glass to avoid any accidents.
Then the window wouldn’t shut when the room got too cold after you were complaining about being too warm.
You had nearly screamed the house down when you saw a spider that Vladimir begrudgingly got rid of and eventually the constant disruption had begun to irritate them.
When the door know on the door had broken to get into one of the rooms upstairs, you nearly walked into the door. You gave the knob another twist. Nothing, something still resisted. Even if it was expected considering it’s an old house, it was still a major inconvenience. You didn’t think twice about going to ask Vladimir and Stefan for some assistance despite them almost pleading with you to stop disrupting them. It wouldn’t leave you door the rest of the day after what transpired.
“I can’t get the door open again.” You whined.
“I told you before, you need to twist the knob all way and then push forward.” Stefan grumbled.
“I did! It’s not working! Can one of you help?” Stefan sighed, taking his head into his hands.
“I am done with the incessant racket you make with every waking moment!” Vladimir suddenly bellowed making you jump. “I am finished with these games! It’s like trying to occupy a child with nothingness day in and day out whilst trying to juggle the things that are actually important!?”
You were taken aback. “I just-” Your voice was quiet and Vladimir quickly cut you off.
“You’re being a pest and inconsiderate. We aren’t here to run around after you! All morning we have been trying to create our plans and all morning you have pulled us away! Can’t we have time to ourselves!? Is that so difficult for you to comprehend!?”
You took a step back, closing your gaping mouth. “I thought you two wanted me to depend on you.” You said lowly. “You’ve ripped everything else in my life away from me so I have no other choice. You wanted me to live here, you told me to ask you-.”
“There is more to me!” Vladimir snapped. “I could be so much more if you wouldn’t hinder us so!”
You couldn’t believe what you were hearing but weren’t surprised by the behaviour. Vladimir always escalated everything. Even if you had come to expect that, it didn’t mean his words didn’t hurt.
“Give us five minutes, (Y/N) and I will be with you shortly.” Stefan’s tone was cold but a clear attempt to lower the tension.
“No, forget it. I’ll do something else. Maybe figure out how to fix the door.” You said bluntly and moved back up stairs and closed the basement door.
You found some tools in the storage room and took even longer to find anything in the library that would tell you how to fix the door. You didn’t.
Therefore, you figured you might as well make the attempt by observation. It wasn’t like they weren’t already angry with you so there was no need to avoid things such as the risks of breaking the door. It took two hours and you were exceptionally pleased with ourself when you still had a functioning door that was somewhat improved as you could now open it. Even if the knob was a little more difficult to twisted, it opened with much more ease.
Dinner was awkward to say the least.
Both of the Romanians were quiet if not talking between themselves as you ate silently. You weren’t sure why they had sat with you bringing their own heavy old books with them. However you didn’t care to find out given the sting of Vladimir’s words previously. You couldn’t help but sneak the occasional glance between the two.
Vladimir said nothing at first but quickly lost patience as usual. “What is it?”
You looked between the two vampires. “What?”
“Do you have something you wish to say to me?” Vladimir pressed.
You looked at your plate and shook your head dismissively. “Why? Why would I say anything to watch you sneer at me?” You said quietly.
“Sneer at you? I do not sneer at you.” Vladimir looked at you incredulously, anger in his eyes.
“Trust me, sweetie, you don’t need to most days. You make yourself clear perfectly well.” You replied.
Vladimir slammed his hand down. “I’m giving you an opportunity to talk since you enjoy hearing your own voice so much that you’re going to sulk like a kicked puppy when you’re told to shut up!”
“So now you want to hear me!? Now you want me to talk!? Do I take damn requests too!?”
Vladimir stood from his seat. “Don’t use that language with me- Don’t ever use that language with me!” Vladimir bellowed.
“Yes, just like I can’t walk too heavily, heaven forbid if I even breathe too loud. I bend over backwards, I defend you time and time again for the things you two do. I give you my all, my whole heart and all I get back is that look from the pair of you!” You turned to Vladimir. “Annoyance, anger, it’s condescending and it’s maddening!”
Vladimir let out a growl of frustration. “Oh if my mate were here perhaps I wouldn’t have to deal with you!”
Your fork dropped to your plate in shock.
You knew fine well that Vladimir loved you and that you and his late mate weren’t alike. He didn’t see you as her replacement. Although to say that his mate would know how to treat you knowing if she were still alive you may never have met him. That stung just as his words had before.
“Maybe you wouldn’t.” You grumbled. “I’d love to pick her brains though. Maybe she could give me some insight on how to live with someone as insufferable as you or maybe you’d be more tolerable if she were alive, hm?"
Vladimir’s darkened with fury, his jaw clenched as he held back a snarl. You considered yourself even at that point considering he had hurt your feelings twice. Now you had hurt his in return.
Stefan’s hand slammed down on the table. "Enough!” He ground out. “I won’t have you two speak to each other this way.” The hand on the table clenched. “I never want to hear you two speak to each other like that again. I won’t stand for it.”
You felt a wave of tears begin to well up in your eyes as you stared down at your plate. Vladimir’s stare hadn’t left you. Stefan’s eyes narrowed on Vladimir. “Vladimir, I said that’s enough.” He growled.
Vladimir broke his stare. “Fine.” He mustered out.
You swallowed hard trying to breathe evenly through your nose and stop the tears. Good thing you were just about done with dinner because you weren’t hungry anymore. You stood up and walked to the kitchen with your plate.
Only Stefan watched you as you hurried upstairs. They could hear your futile attempt at holding back the tears.
Vladimir didn’t look at you. You thought it out of stubbornness but in truth his words as well as yours replayed. Everything about it was wrong.
Vladimir was wrong to snap at you and you were wrong for trying to hurt his feelings. You had hurt his feelings. Stefan stared him down coldly when they heard the bedroom door shut.
“Satisfied?” Stefan growled lowly.
"No.“ Vladimir replied.
"That was too far. Bringing her into this, you know how much that hurts.”
“I didn’t mean it like that.” Vladimir sighed.
“I do not care what you meant. Never say that again. Never compare or bring her up to (Y/N). I don’t care what they say or do, you will not cross that line.” Vladimir nodded. “I don’t like that I said it to begin with. They made me so angry talking to me like that.”
“They irritated us today just as we irritate them some days. Why did it have to become anything more?” Stefan asked with exasperation and let out a sigh. His eyes shut when he heard your sob. “I will give them some time before I go to make amends. I think it best you calm yourself before you say a thing to them.” Vladimir silently agreed with another nod.
You locked eyes with Stefan the moment he entered the room.
However to your surprise, he greeted you with a smile as he approached. He smirked as he stood up upon the bed and over you as you lay curled up in a ball. He reached his arms out to you and you looked at him with confusion. Tentatively, you reached out and he took your hands pulling you up to a stand quickly as you stifled a squeal. The sound made Stefan laugh and you felt his cold nose, nuzzle your neck slightly.
“Listen to me…” Stefan breathed against your neck. “I love you and I never want to upset you or see anyone else upset you. A lot was said today and I want you to realise none of it was true.” He pressed a kiss to your neck before resting the side of his face against yours. “You are so important and so special. We worry so because we do not want this life of running for you. We want you safe so that we can treat you like the royalty you truly are.”
You said nothing but allowed Stefan to pull you closer. “I apologise for my part in today’s events. I’d never want you to feel like an inconvenience in your own home. Not with me. Not with anyone.” Stefan looked at you and you slowly nodded.
“I’m sorry too. I didn’t mean what I said.” You said quietly, winding your arms around his neck.
“I know you didn’t, darling.” Stefan said softly before capturing your lips with his own. He hummed softly in approval when you kissed him back. He smiled slightly into the kiss as he tended to do most of the time.
“I can think of a few ways I can make it up to you.” He said cheekily.
“Although, I think I better hold onto such ideas until later.”
You playfully rolled your eyes. “Are you feeling okay? You don’t wait for much and certainly not that.” You grinned.
He feigned offence. “You make me sound feral, darling. I can contain myself perfectly fine, thank you…” He said as he broke away, turning towards the door. Before he took a step, he looked back at you, grabbing you by the shirt and pulling you into him for another kiss. “…when I want to.” Stefan added with a wink before letting you go.
Later that night, you were about to get up to get ready for bed.
You nearly jumped to see Vladimir leaning against the door frame, silently watching you.
“You scared me.” You said quietly before burying your head back into the pillow. If you knew Vladimir he’d say nothing and just choose to stare at you. “Are you going to sleep soon? Its past ten.”
You nodded. “Yeah, soon.” You replied. You heard a ’whir’ and suddenly the bed dipped behind you. You looked behind you to see Vladimir lying beside you. “I don’t want you going to sleep tonight thinking I’m angry with you.” Vladimir said quietly before he wound his arm around your waist.
“But you are.” You replied quietly.
“I was. There is a difference.”
You nodded at his response. Although you couldn’t help but be saddened still by the situation.
You felt Vladimir’s thumb rub a spot on your back. “Don’t think anything of it. I apologise and regret how we dealt with the situation. It’s one of my many flaws as I am sure you have noticed.”
“It’s understandable. You don’t need to apologise.” You said softly.
“I do because of how it made you feel.” Vladimir replied firmly. “You tried to reconcile with me and I refused and ever since you’ve been tucked up in here. That upset you in my stubbornness.”
“I’d never fault you for that. Either of you.” You whispered. “I kept pushing, like you said. I was overexcited.”
“(Y/N), we love you for those things. We love you for not holding it against us. We love you for your joy and hyperactivity. We don’t want you to feel you can’t be yourself. We have just had a terrible attitude lately and I can only apologise for behaving such a way towards you.”
“It’s okay. You’re forgiven.” You smiled slightly.
“Just remember that we don’t hold such things against you either. Once its done, its done. We need our time to process, that is all there is to it. So don’t worry yourself. So you can be overexcited, we knew that when we fell in love with you. Its hardly a surprise. You see, I worry that you take these moments as an attack on you or a reason why we’d leave you. I hear it in the way you talk and its stupid.”
You giggled slightly. He continued.
“It is! It is so stupid but so ridiculously human of you!” Vladimir rolled his eyes with a sigh. “It won’t happen. I will love you until I am dead- until the end of time itself. Our bond is unbreakable.” Vladimir’s hold on you tightened. You felt the urge to hold him but decided against it. Instead you, somewhat nervously, fidgeted with the covers.
Vladimir’s eyes narrowed on you. “Hold me, damn it!” Vladimir quickly threw your fidgeting arm around him.
“I didn’t ask!”
“You don’t have to when I’m already holding you!” Vladimir argued back with a sigh but a smile adorned his face.
“Vladimir!” You giggled.
“Now give me a damn kiss.” He said before his lips captured yours, muffling your laughter against his mouth.

• As soon as the two of you got talking, he forgot why he was there in the beginning until Melinda came in

She agrees and during her session, something starts making communication through the spirit box. After a few failed attempts to contact, she was just about to call it quits when she looks up in front her. In front of her, she sees the ghost of Abraham Lincoln. A little bit shocked that she can see him, he starts talking to her. The reader telling him about his assassination and who was responsible for it, tells him how the country is today, telling him about both of the world wars. He asks her many questions, (you can decide what he asks), m and she is able to answer them. That is what helped him moved on to the next life.

A/N: okay SO I want to apologize for the Ghost Adventures fellas basically being cut down to only Zak, and for him probably being OOC! I used to watch Ghost Adventures when I was little, but I grew up on Ghost Hunters a lot more, so I don’t remember as much about GA. I tried to watch a bit more of the recent episodes to catch up, so I’m sorry this took so long. Also, I was able to use my random history facts that I’ve always had no reason to know, so all of the information in this is real! Hope this is okay :)

“We have a case where now?” You cried out in shock. Your eyes were saucers as they flickered back and forth between the brothers seated across the large wooden table. Sam trailed a finger over his bottom lip and shuffled uncomfortably in his seat from his place behind his laptop screen. Dean let out a sigh as he splayed his hands out over the surface of the tabletop.
“Yeah, that’s what I said too. But it looks like there’s some crazy crap going on in the White House, and every hunter we’ve contacted for backup has basically given us the verbal finger-”
“Because it’s the White House,” you interjected quickly.
“Yeah,” Dean muttered in reply, shaking his head. “I know, I get that. I understand that this isn’t our usual… deal, but no one else is gonna do anything, and this is still our job. Innocent people are still getting hurt, and there’s no way the secret service is gonna be able to handle this. We’re kind of the only option.”
Despite the deep feeling of uncertainty bubbling in your stomach, you couldn’t help but fidget giddily with the pen between your fingers. You had always loved history, and the amount of history packed into that building was mind blowing to you. Maybe this wouldn’t be the easiest hint you’d ever been on, but it had the potential to be one of the most interesting for sure.

As you made your way to your sleeping quarters shared with Kylo, you quickly pulled the neck of your turtle neck shirt over your busted and cracked lip.
You didn’t want Kylo to see this, most of all, you don’t want to talk about what happened between you and your dad. Every weekend, you go home to your family and spend time with them before returning back to Kylo. Kylo has met your parents only once and you could tell he felt skeptical about them.
That same feeling that washed over him was right to be skeptical. You were never really close to your parents, your relationship was no good and it got worse when you announced to them you’d be moving in with Kylo. Of course they tried to put a stop to your leaving and it was getting out of hand. The confrontation was escalating and that’s where Kylo stepped into your rescue, pushing you behind him as he walked backwards along with you until you were safely out of the house of horrors. It took a while to convince Kylo that going back out every once in a while to visit and make peace with your family, it was worth the effort when he finally cracked and let you go over for the weekends.
While you’d be gone, Kylo would try not to sit and worry too much about your wellness and how you were being treated by your parents. Normally after the visits, you come back to Kylo like you were one big happy family and Kylo missed out on some of the activities you did together. When you first started going back to visit your family, things seemed to be going well and everything seemed to be at ends meet. That was what you had believed until the next upcoming visit, after leaving this one due to certain chain of events, you promised to yourself you would take Kylo’s word for it and never go back nor even look back on the people who you used to call family.
As your family time was about up, it was on the very last day of your stay that things got heated and this time, you had no one there to protect you. You were on your own this time, and you were giving it all you’ve got in handling this crisis on your own. It didn’t work out, your family had left you with an ultimatum the second you had arrived and you had until the last day to decide if you wanna still be part of the family, or go back to Kylo while at the same time, your family disowns you. Of course, you had chosen to take the path back to Kylo and announced it to your family.
“Get out of this house!”
Was the response you got, and that’s what you did. Or at least, tried to do as you still had possessions that needed to be packed up to take back with you. The items you brought for this final visit and the items you had left behind in the beginning. The bedroom that used to belong to you was one of the downstairs bedrooms, so as you were carrying the first load up the stairs, you were met with your dad as he stood there, seemingly had been waiting all this time for god only knows what.
When you felt your box of items slipping, you were about to ask if he could have a sense of decency respect and help you carry this out for you, and then you would leave for good. But before you even got the chance to say anything, your dad speaks up in an angry tone of voice, the same one that would always make your heart jump in your throat, knowing what was coming your way. You’ve learned to brace yourself, but what happens next couldn’t be prevented even just by a little bit.
“I thought we asked you to leave.”
“Well yeah, but I have my stuff I need to take back with me-“
“You’re not taking any of what was once your possessions! Just leave and never contact us again!”
Your mouth fell agape as the of ‘is he actually serious?’ started running through your mind. You could hardly believe this, but you stood your ground and that had cost you greatly. This time, it wasn’t just a warning, it was discipline in the eyes of your father.
“But-“
Before you could get any more words out, you were suddenly pushed backwards harshly and tumbled down the basement stairs, your items crashing on impact right along with you. You hit your head pretty hard, but the greatest concern was your now cut and busted lip.
You worried that it might need some stitches, looking back up the stairs from where you were brutally pushed down, your father was no longer there and took that chance to escape without running into any members of that family. By the time you arrived back on StarKiller base, your lip was swelled and was very noticeable. You used your turtleneck sweater to cover it as you walk back to your quarters. Along the way, members of the order would acknowledge your presence and happily greeted you.
Not wanting anyone to see your now fat lip, you just politely waved back and nodded in response. General Hux was one of those who greeted you, but unlike the rest, he immediately picked up on the fact that something wasn’t right when he saw your covered lip. To your dismay, he begins to question it, asking what you were trying to hide, but you didn’t answer him at all, you made a mad dash to get away from the questioning. Now you were nervous about Kylo seeing this, but he had to have known sometime. Walking in your quarters, you had your head down as Kylo looks up and away from the tv now onto you. Just like General Hux, Kylo knew right away something wasn’t feeling right about your return. The first thing he noticed was your missing luggage, and then your covered lips.
Sensing your anxiety rising, he was careful and gentle asking the questions and was patient on waiting for you to be ready to answer them. When you did, you were choked up as you told him about the whole mess and the hell hole this visit was, telling him those people wouldn’t let you take possessions back home with you. Kylo can’t recall on the last time he felt this much hate towards others, he wanted to go back and confront those people while leaving you behind where you’d be safe. Hearing him say that upset you of course, lucky for you, you can easily get Kylo to cave in on just about anything and everything. So instead of going out to create more trouble, you both stayed home and tried your best to enjoy the evening together, nights like these are something you are easily fond of and treasured the most.
Throughout the night, you were trying to get your mind off things and thankfully, you had Kylo there to help you through that. While spending this time together, Kylo held you the whole time you both watched your favorite shows or movies until you eventually fall asleep in his arms. Kylo has always been the most valued source of comfort you have.
The both of you alone were a comfort to each other.
