He didn’t get too far before suddenly getting picked up.Shusei was no stuffed animal. THe brunette blinked at the male before him. 

He had never seen this person before. Ah, Hotsuma had told him about people that would want to eat him! “Stranger danger!” He suddenly blurted out and threw his chocolate milk cartoon at the teen. He missed, and it wizzed past the teens head and landed on the floor.

❇ The whitet blinked; before going to pick up the chocolate milk. Handing it to him carefully; he was glad it hadn't busted open. "Stranger danger...? My name is Nai! You're really cute you know that?"

❇ Having been sitting at a table; he placed the little child down and sat, opening the chocolate milk and inserting a straw for him. "Here you go." Being a little brother; it was nice to be the older for once. But how'd the kid get here?

‡ - He appeared much calmer with her headphones on, though he looked a little silly with such large devices on his head. 

"Don’t worry about it. We all get a little overwhelmed at time. I’m Lucy," she said, deciding not to pry as to the reasonings behind his behaviour. She was just glad he seemed more elated now.

❇ "My name is Nai. It's nice to meet Lucy nee-chan." Nai replied; smiling gently. He at least felt much better; before standing up and putting his backpack back on. At least the loud noises were dimmed and almost gone. That was a relief.

The feline curled up closer to the albino, his purring intensifying as the gentle rampage upon the backs of his ears continued. Why weren’t more people gentle with him like this? Everyone else just wanted to pull them and torture them.

Ignoring Nai’s comment, Boris lay in silence minus his obnoxious purring while his magenta tail flicked around in the air with leisure.

❇ Nai remained quiet after that, giggling softly to himself as he continued to gently scratch behind Boris' ears. He really liked that; huh? "... Ne, nii-chan. You're really cute, nii-chan~" Nai giggled; smiling.

❇ His fingers remained gentle; but went just a fraction faster. He wasn't going to hurt him.

Seeing the child reach up toward his flicking feline features, Boris tensed slightly ready to pull away at any swift tug on his delicate ears.

However a soft rub on the back of them caused the cheeky feline to elicit a purr from his throat and lean down for further therapy upon his ears.

"That’s nice, kid…."

❇ Nai let out a giggle; petting behind his ears gently. He remembered having a pet cat at home; when he was little. The kitten loved curling up on Nai's stomach and having the whitet pet its ears.

❇ "You sound funny; nii-chan." He giggled again; smiling up at him. At least he was much calmer than before.

❇ "Thank you, pretty miss!" He gently took some from the box, eating it with a soft 'itadakimasu'.

Tiny feet tipper tapper all the way down the hall. He enters the cafeteria and looks around at all the bigs kids. Getting onto his hands and knees he skips past the line, grabs a small carton of chocolate milk and makes a break for it.

❇ "Uwa..." Hands gently reached out for the little child; before he picked him up. How cute! It looked like a stuffed animal. But this was a child. "Hello!" Nai was just being friendly.

❇ "Can I? It looks really good!" Nai perked up; smiling broadly and brightly.

"Babies don’t lay on the floor then, right?" Boris chuckled and stood up right, stretching his arms into the air as he arched his back slightly with utmost flexibility.

He paused to peek down at the child who rested against the wall now.

"Nai, huh? "

The chesire’s ears twitched again before a grinned and scratched his cheek softly, a prideful glimmer in his topaz gems over took his features.

"Hehe, yeah, I’m a cat alright~! How did you think I heard those noises, eh?"

❇ "Mmhmm. Nai." He replied quietly; looking at the boy's ears. They were interesting. "Maybe you're like me. Just sensitive." Reaching up like a child; gently fingers scratched behind one of those ears.

❇ How interesting. Nai hadn't seen something like that before...!

‡ - On one of her mindless wanderings of the school, the blonde hummed as music flowed through her headphones. Strangely, there was a curled up figure on the ground. A boy, a student by the looks of it. Brown eyes grew concerned as he almost withdrew into himself.

She knelt down, pulling off her headphones. Gently, she placed them over his ears. Smiling softly, she patted his head and waited.

❇ The music was soft. It did block out the loud noises; though. Blinking; Nai looked up at the blonde with wide eyes.

❇ "...?" She was really nice. And pretty. At least it didn't hurt anymore. It was much less scary now; without such loud sounds... "... Thank you."

Attempts to lure in members for the swim club. He even drew a pretty picture!

"Yeah, yeah, it wasn’t a problem…. Why would I leave someone to die in that monstrosity?" Boris grinned confidently down at the little albino with a wink, ears twitching to full attention.

Kneeling down to get the kid to sit up right, Boris smirked.

"Hey, get up, kid, only babies lie on the floor…." The pinkette reached out to ruffle his hair again. 

Why was he doing this? He hated little shits like this kid…. but there was something different about him. Something a lot less little-shitty. The kid’s size reminded him of those damn twins who always drove him up the wall, however they were his best friends but this child in front of him held a different heir about him that somehow made him a lot more tolerable.

"The name’s Boris~"

The chesire winked down at the sniffling kid.

"Now, what’s your name?"

❇ The whitet blinked; before looking up with a small pout. "I'm not a baby." He was sitting against the wall; at least. Instead of being crumpled on the floor like he was before.

❇ "My name is Nai, Boris nii-chan." He replied simply; blinking crimson hues up at the other. The sounds seemed gone. That was better. At least for now.

❇ "Nii-chan has cat ears." How obvious, Nai.

Scary? Did Boris hear that right? The boy was genuinely scared? Feeling the child grip onto his sleeve tightly, he helped him up and guided him farther down the hall where the noises were less obnoxious and intense. With a sigh,Boris glanced down at the trembling, sobbing albino at his side.

"Hey, kid, it’s alright now… " he muttered as he reached down to ruffle up the top of his hair.

"Damn, whatever the hell that was needs to be put in control. I thought my ears were gonna start bleeding…"

The feline huffed casually as he rubbed the back of his head, ears twitching back to their normal upright position.

❇ Sniffling; he rubbed the tears from his eyes with both hands. The sounds were pretty much gone, now. "T-Thank you..." Rubbing his ears a little; he sat down on the floor and curled up slightly.

❇ "I-I don't like loud noises... T-They're scary and th-they hurt..." Sniffling; a soft hiccup came from him.

❇ "T-Thank you f-for helping m-m-m-me..." The other understood; at least, how loud things could get. Nai was still trying to calm down enough to even sing his little song; but couldn't. At least he wasn't crying anymore.
