5th Annual Gate City Minority Opportunity Business Fair

Greensboro, N.C. (March 21, 2016) – East Market Street Development Corporation will host the 5th Annual Gate City Minority Business Opportunity Fair in on Thursday, March 31. This networking event is free and open to minority and women-owned businesses interested in contracting opportunities with government agencies, public institutions and major corporations in Greensboro.  

Participants will include key representatives from the City of Greensboro, Guilford County, Guilford County Schools, Guilford Technical Community College, NC A&T State University, NC Dept of Transportation, NC Military Business Center and University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The networking event will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Khalif Event Center, 2000 E. Wendover Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405. Attendees will be able to network with event sponsors including: The Support Center, SBTDC/PTAC, Greensboro Housing Authority, M&F Bank, Guilford Merchants Association, Greensboro Partnership/Chamber of Commerce, Volvo and more to come!    This networking event is hosted by East Market Street Development Corporation to support Historically Underutilized Businesses, including minority and women-owned business enterprises. “Our goal is to have more minority and women-owned firms positioned for growth through new relationships that lead to more revenues,” says Phil Barnhill, Director of Operations at East Market Street Development Corporation.
