Within these everlasting dying days, a new age dawns. Hold on everybody here it comes. Another moment captured, another space come undone. Meticulous in his mystery. Veil of anonymity proves to be the warmest garment. It's the same shit every night, new janitor in the morning. There to traverse through our cesspool of modern day capitalism. Cannibalism of the soul dripping through the gutters. Waiting for the next evolutionary step in this generation of self degradation and instant gratification. Hey, it's a messy job but somebody has to earn it. From the minute your eye lids crack through the goo and you awaken from your drunken stupor, the ticker begins. Stock markets rise and crash between desayuno and almuerzo. Countless backdoor transactions guided by the damp incandescent glistening city street lamps. The inglorious stench of what remains from a night full of promise. Full of vigor. So. Much. Life. Never enough remorse. Finality of death; forever there to remind you. Like some sick joke you walk home to every time. Infectious societal pressure breeding incessant "gotta have it" mentalities. History being erased daily. Textbooks replaced with iPads. It's within such parameters of a universe that one learns codes & ethics otherwise ought to be yiddish outside this realm. For some, these trees provide the perfect scenic route. As the shade darkens, there couldn't be a better cover for others. Washington Heights. Home of our Fathers, Sisters, Mothers and Brothers.
