Took me a bit to get to this, but I'm making it now.

Hey, I'm @insanearoace, you can just call me Flid (not my real name, based on inside joke with me and a friend). I have not yet been officially diagnosed with any mental disorders, but all five of my (former) therapists have recommended getting checked for ADHD and Autism. Not done it yet though. My pronouns are He/Him, I am a cis male, and (surprisinglyenough) I am AroAce.

Right now I'm interested in Les Mis and Cult of the Lamb, but this is subject to change at any moment. I am currently writing a CotL fanfic, but due to personal reasons, this is going to be slow to release. I do theatre, typically from a tech aspect. I mostly do Stage Management and Lighting Design, but I know the basics of most stuff. Not costumes though. I wouldn't touch costumes with a twenty seven and a half foot pole. I recently got a position as the head Stage Manager for Shaekspear in the Park (Taming of the Shrew), which is taking a huge chunk of my time, and the main reason updates on my fanfic will take some time.

Education, regulation, social services, medical care, and actually effective community based law enforcement is hard. It takes work. It takes money. It takes consistency. But it reduces harm way more than just telling people to stop doing things.

If only I could find a way to get this through people’s heads.

I want to be an actor, but that dream obviously isn't coming true :/

It's too defeatist to say that. That dream won't come true if you don't work at it, so do what you can now to work at it. If you want to be a stage actor, there's opportunities all around. Look up local theatre groups, they often have public auditions, and typically bring people back, so once you get in you can keep coming back. Especially take a look at youth theatre im your area. They sometimes require a fee, but they'll teach you skills for use in future. If, for some reason, you can't right now, read famous plays so you can get a vibe for them, look up videos on stage combat, or just general acting stuff. Memorize some monologs! The four main ones you should have if you're considering it for a career are: Classic Comedic, Classic Dramatic, Modern Comedic, Modern Dramatic. If you don't get a role, or don't have time for a role, do tech! All (stage) actors should have at least a base level knowledge in scenic, and at least know their own measurements for costumes, but an actor versed in all tech will go farther than one who isn't. Also, all forms of tech have at least one YouTube video you can find and learn. Learn vocal warmup! Learn to sing, train your voice! And if you're thinking some other kind of actor, most of this advice is applicable! Voice training and monologs are used in practically every form of acting! I believe you still go to high school, and they probably have a thespian troupe of some form. Theatres are always lacking in people, and they won't turn you away for being inexperienced. That's just a base overview of everything, you can DM me for a more in-depth talk if you want. Sorry for ranting, I just think it's very important for people to know that you can always get involved with your dream career.

Okay, but also: if you see a Muslim praying in public and they have something in front of them, like a purse or a bag or something like that, you can pass in front of them, but pass in front of that object.

it’s called a sutrah, and it’s meant to act as a physical barrier between the person praying and someone who might happen to pass in front.

Also, if you did this and didn’t know, please don’t beat yourself up over it. Now you know! Muslims aren’t supposed to pass in front of Muslims praying, either, because prayer is communication with God and you don’t want to break that connection.
