soooooo are you all done?
I quit. Yeah.
I'm quitting.
I can't do this anymore.
The Controller
I saw a car with its headlights on sitting outside of the bank for a good hour. This has happened every time I heard footsteps.
While I was on the phone (I call into the Alan Colmes show most nights as Gary Oak from Pallet Town, WA), I heard some distortion when I passed into a room, this guttural grinding and screaming for a few seconds.
That scared me more than a lot of things.
The Controller
The vacuum started screaming when I turned it on. I turned it off, and I kept hearing this scream for a couple seconds. Then it went away, and didn't come back. It wasn't a mechanical sound. It sounded like a woman.

Heading over now.
The Controller.
can you update more? and can you not quit? thanks in advance
Okay.
Tonight, a door that has never been opened was. It was an exit door, with a staircase, and two doors. One led outside, and one led into the basement. I took some pictures.
There seems to be another corridor at the bottom of the stairs. I'll investigate this weekend.

YO YOU NEVER UPDATE HOW COME
Nothing new (or interesting) had happened for a while. Until tonight.
Pictures would be great. Especially if you are thinking of quitting, a few non-identifying pictures would very cool to see.
I will see what I can do.
Footsteps tonight.
Footsteps coming down the stairs. Footsteps on the roof. Footsteps in the rooms all around me.
This was at the other bank I clean, not the one I've been telling you about.
I'm worried it's not the bank anymore.
I have a lot to tell you about. Two visits ago, I got sick at the bank. I was vomiting in one of the toilets, and when I walked outside, there was a piece of paper sitting on the floor. It was from a fax machine, and I couldn't tell what was on it. It was a really weird picture, sort of like a whole multitude of office products were piled on top of each other and then scanned. I picked it up and took it home with me. I left it in my car. This morning, it was missing. One visit ago, I was cleaning in the entryway, when I heard someone pounding on the glass. I spun around and no one was there. The inside glass, mind you. Last night, I was walking the bucket down the hallway, and as I went, I heard someone go "psssst!" right behind me. No one, again. I'm thinking about quitting. The Controller.
I'll post about tonight in the morning.
I'm too freaked out to type.
The Controller.
Only two things tonight.
One, that lady was there again. She seems very nice. She made two references to being scared, though, which seemed odd.
Two, a door closed on the other side of the bank from me. I'm not sure how. I've gotten used to that.
The Controller.
Worked tonight. I tore some cartilidge out of my knee, or something, and I was limping around everywhere.
I got to the bank at 10. Everything went fine until the very end, as I had just turned all the lights off and was unlocking the front door to leave.
I heard something hit the ground, and then footsteps. I booked it right out of there.
I'm almost certain I saw something moving inside the bank as I was driving away.
The Controller
When I showed up at the bank tonight, one of the motion-detection lights was already on. Not a great start, I thought.
When I got inside, there was a woman inside. She was working at a computer. I knocked and opened the door.
She said, "Hi, are you here to clean?"
"Yes."
"And are you letting me know because you don't want me to be scared?"
"Exactly."
"That's very thoughtful of you."
"Thank you!"
The rest of the night was weird. I was on adderall, which pretty much deadens any fear response I could have. She left a few minutes later.
She said, "Stay safe!"

Listen to this while you read.
I think I made it mad.
I finished up with my first place and drove over to the bank. It was foggy. That didn't help.
I made a lap around the bank checking to see which doors were closed. I always close the doors when I leave, so if there are closed doors, that typically means that the room wasn't used and I won't have to clean it. None were closed, so I started cleaning the bathroom.
They were out of toilet paper, and we keep all the supplies in the basement. I got in the elevator and went down. I recorded this, but for some reason my phone won't let me send it to my email. I'm not sure if it picked up the sound, anyway. When I got down there, and picked up the rolls, I heard a door slam. This happens sometimes with the janitor closet door, as there's a door stop and I sometimes set it poorly. It closes so slowly that it'll be a full minute before it actually shuts, which generally freaks me out.
I went upstairs. The closet door was open. I looked around. All the doors were open.
So, I have no idea what that's about.
I continued on, cleaning all the offices and teller desks, taking out the trash. I finish that up and start vacuuming. I get about half the bank vacuumed before it dies. This happens all the time, as well, because I overextend the cord and pulled it out of the outlet. I checked, and it was still plugged in. Puzzled, I called my boss, and asked him what to do. He said to check the cord for any breaks or cuts. I do, there are none. He tells me that he'll pick the vacuum up later, that they've had problems with it before.
This has happened before. There's a high turnover for this job, but there's an especially high turnover rate for this location. At my other places, janitors typically clean a location for four or five months. I can't find any janitor here, from the log book, that worked longer than one. I don't know if that means anything. Maybe they didn't like it here, either.
So, my boss asks me to go to the other place I clean to get their vacuum. I do, and it takes about 20 minutes to get across town and back.
I forgot to mention this earlier: in the offices, all the lights are motion-activated. If you leave them for 30 minutes, without any movement, they go off.
They were still on when I got back. That wouldn't be weird if I had just been in there before I left, but I hadn't been. It had been about 10 minutes since I had been in any of them, and they stayed on for a good 15 minutes when I got back.
Cars driving by don't turn them back on.
